4 Parks in 1 Day: Our Disney Anniversary Adventure

As a travel agent who plans family vacations all the time, I’ve been to Walt Disney World more times than I can count. But one trip stands out. It was the time my husband and I decided to do all four Disney parks in one day. Just the two of us, for our 10th anniversary.

This wasn’t a relaxing spa getaway or a quiet weekend trip. We wanted something fun. Something totally us. Disney has always been our place, so what better way to celebrate than with one big adventure? Four parks. One day. No kids. Just us and a whole lot of walking.

We kicked things off bright and early at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. First up was Expedition Everest. That ride is one of my favourites. It’s just thrilling enough to wake you up, but not so intense that it wrecks your energy for the rest of the day. We walked through the park a bit, took in the scenery, and enjoyed the early morning calm before the crowds rolled in.

Next, we made our way to Hollywood Studios. That’s where things picked up. We were on a mission to ride the Tower of Terror. It’s one of those rides I’ve always had mixed feelings about. I don’t love heights, and neither does my husband. But our 13-year-old had been talking about it nonstop. He begged us to ride it, just once, in his honour. So we did. We screamed. We laughed. We probably looked ridiculous. But we were proud of ourselves for doing it. And we knew our son would be proud too.

After that, it was time for Epcot. By this point, the Florida heat was in full force. We were hot, sweaty, and definitely feeling it. While my husband went off to ride Guardians of the Galaxy, I needed a bit of a break. The heat got to me, and I wasn’t feeling great. I stopped by Guest Services and told them I was overheated. They were so kind. Gave me water, a place to sit in the air conditioning, and checked on me until I felt okay again. That’s the kind of care I’ve come to expect from Disney. It reminded me why I always recommend their parks to families. Things can go sideways, and they still make you feel safe and looked after.

Once I cooled down and we regrouped, we hopped on the monorail and headed to Magic Kingdom. There’s just something special about arriving at Magic Kingdom in the evening. The lights are on. The castle is glowing. Everyone’s buzzing with excitement. We rode a few classics, took in the fireworks, and then capped it off with an after-fireworks dessert party. The treats, the view, the relaxed atmosphere — it was the perfect way to end a very full, very fun day.

That day meant a lot to me. Not just because it was our anniversary, but because it reminded me of what’s possible with good planning and a bit of Disney magic. Doing all four parks in one day isn’t for everyone, but it is possible. It’s a challenge, and it takes a bit of strategy, but if you want to do it, I can help you make it happen.

Maybe your family wants to try the four parks challenge too. Maybe you just want a relaxing Disney trip where everything is already figured out. Either way, I’m here for it. I know how to plan around heat, crowds, sensory needs, and the unexpected. I’ll help you create a plan that fits your pace and your priorities.

Because Disney doesn’t have to be stressful. It can be calm, exciting, magical, and just plain fun — all at the same time.

If you’re ready to plan a trip that feels like it was made just for your family, let’s talk. Whether you want to ride every thrill ride, find all the quiet spots, or eat your way through the parks, I’ll make sure it all fits together in a way that works for you.

Let’s make your Disney trip one your family will be talking about for years.

Amazing Vacation
Kandita found us a wonderful hotel that answered all our requests. Close to the ocean, swimming pool and gym, free breakfast and it was a good deal. Before asking for her help we were struggling finding a place that was adequate and with her support we had an amazing vacation! Highly recommend her.

Summerside, PEI
We did a trip to Summerside PEI.we asked her to book us a hotel. We gave her a budget, and asked that it had free breakfast and a pool. What we got was the Microtel in Summerside. that is connected to the local community centre which has an 8 lane 25m pool that was free for hotel guests throughout the day. We were very pleased with it.

Kandita was amazing!
Kandita was amazing with planning our trip. She put together an entire package day by day and incorporated all of our wants/needs. She is always fast to respond and saved us a ton of money by keeping up with promotions. She is also realistic with budget and gives great recommendations based on her own experiences.
