I bring firsthand experience to the table; cruising was a unique way my late husband and I found time for ourselves while our four kids stayed with their grandparents. However, my travel expertise goes beyond the sea. On a safari cruise, I watched a herd of elephants cross a river, the babies rolling around in the water while their parents encouraged them. On an excursion, there was even a moment where a bull elephant charged our Land Rover, ears flailing – an experience made memorable by our quick-acting driver. Avoya's staff was easy to deal with and in the same time zone. It would be nice if MSC updated their website more frequently so that the information was correct. The port we wished to embark from was booked for 3 weeks in May, but the website still showed that those dates were still available.

The only issue I had was the travel agent insisted that I had to do the my time dining and that the gratuities were mandatory; even though I told the agent three times I did not want to do my time dining and that I would be paying my own gratuities.

Everything was perfect from the time I called to make the reservation. the only disappointment was when I couldn't make a reservation for first seating but that turned out perfect also after we boarded the ship. We were able to get 6pm dinner at the same table every night and we had a gem of a waitress. The ship was excellent and we would cruise on Princess again. Thank You!!!!!
