One of my favorite vacations since becoming a travel advisor was a trip to Machu Picchu, which I took with a friend. The highlight was undoubtedly seeing one of the 7 Wonders of the World. This journey was a stark reminder that there are still many undiscovered lands out there, waiting to be explored. The experience has had a lasting impact on me as a travel advisor, reinforcing the idea that travel is not just about visiting well-known places but about discovering the unknown. It has added another layer to how I approach travel planning, encouraging me to seek out unique and less-explored destinations for my clients.

Customers service was impeccable every detail of the trip was well thought out by Wind Star cruises. The private island entertainment added another next level of excitement to the trip. The food cuisine gave us the opportunity to sample some of the Tahitian fruits and food, the preparation and presentation was very well laid out. In retrospect I would have appreciated a bit more on the pros and cons, and possibility, of coming in on the earlier (red eye flight). I don't think it was discussed. 2. coming in so late also resulted in missing some diving opportunities since some were fully booked by the time we could get to the dive desk (see comments below). 3. Not sure if there was any choice but it would have been nice to have some say in day room hotel options.

Avis Leeper....Avis kept us informed of any changes that may have effected us financially, as well as any " road hazards" ahead. There is a tremendous respect for Avis, and her ability to keep a "cool" head when things were not necessarily in our favor. If a quick response was needed, she made it quicker. If we needed a hotel, she hustled, and waited up late hours for our plane to land so we could confirm. Of course, that includes house wine and beer and soft drinks. - Sauna, hot tubs and more Make some time to relax in your ship's onboard sauna and hot tubs - they really make returning from the day's adventures that much more rewarding. - Delicious coffee, tea, and soft drinks all day Choose from a variety of hot and cold drinks, from a caffeine boost in the morning to a sugar rush after lunch. Refill stations for your OceanBottle are located throughout the ship, keeping you hydrated without using any single-use plastics. - All-inclusive drinks Enjoy a glass of wine or beer at the Pool Bar before dinner. Or unwind in the evening with a cocktail in the Explorer Lounge. You will receive these as a beautiful digital album after you've returned home as part of your HX Expedition Logbook. - Wi-Fi at no extra cost HX Expeditions offers Starlink Wi-Fi on all of their ships. Be aware that they often sail in remote areas with limited connection and streaming isn't supported. - Full access to the HX Science Center Often described by guests as "the heart of an HX ship", the interactive science program is like nothing you'll find elsewhere. Join the onboard scientists, hear from experts, collect samples, and get involved in the citizen science projects.
