Quaint Ljubljana

One place I've always dreamed of visiting was Ljubljana, Slovenia, my grandmother's hometown. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem.

Ljubljana is a small, charming European city that's never too busy but always interesting. The Ljubljanica River flows through the city center, creating a picturesque riverwalk lined with cafes and restaurants. It's a great spot to relax, dine, and enjoy the local atmosphere.

Exploring Ljubljana was a calming experience, far from the hustle and bustle of a metropolis. Be sure to walk across the iconic Dragon Bridge and visit the Love Bridge (officially called Butchers Bridge), where you can leave a padlock as a symbol of your love.

Ljubljana is rich in mythological history, which you'll notice throughout the city. On the Love Bridge, you'll find a large statue of a disemboweled man, believed to represent Prometheus.

I can't recommend Ljubljana enough. It's a truly special destination that you should experience for yourself.

Jacqueline has helped us plan wonderful family vacations to Mexico and Turks and Caicos. She is great at matching the best resort to fit our family, taking everyones ages and what each one wants to do into the planning process. Excellent attention to detail, Jacqueline is our FAVORITE travel agent!

Wonderful help for our first Disney trip!
I had a lot of questions for our first Disney vacation. Jacqueline was very patient with me and helped whenever I had a question or needed more explanations because I wasn't sure of the planning process. I would use Jacqueline again to plan another trip!
