My first introduction to cruising was a famliy vacation in 2004 and I was immediately hooked! Waking up in a new destination each morning was exciting, and life on board was so satisfying. I so appreciated the attentive service of the crew and enjoyed talking to them and learning about their home countries. Cruise ship crew are some of the finest people you will ever meet. I loved everything about the experience -- the entertainment, the food, the spa, the pool the ports -- with one exception: having to get off and go home at the end of the cruise! I quickly learned that the quickest fix for post-cruise depression was to book another cruise. 

Since then I have crossed oceans around the world and sailed on many seas. I've completed my quest to visit all 7 continents. Cruise ships have taken me to sophisticated cities and remote wildnernesses, allowing me to explore both the height of civilized culture and the peaks of natural wonder. But I also love the balance of exploration and relaxation found in cruising. A busy day of adventure in port can be followed by a day at sea with no land in sight, and no agenda other than watching the sun rise and set on the water.
