Ballooning Over the Yarra River Valley

Adventure in Australia

Having been an Aussie Specialist for over 15 years, I have had the chance to experience the country on two occasions.

This country definitely needs to be on your bucket list if it isn't already. There is so much to see and do from snorkelling or diving the Great Barrier Reef, to hot air ballooning over the Yarra River Valley, to riding a camel to dinner in the Outback and numerous other adventures in between.

Weather you are looking for soft adventure or extreme adventure, there is something for everyone in every destination in the country.

I feel very fortunate to have been able to experience this country first hand and to have been able to interact with the locals throughout the country. A definite highlight was being able to meet all types of travelers when I was in the Outback and to hear their stories of their adventures while experiencing the area as well.

While in Adelaide I had the opportunity to walk through Morialta Conservation Park. This free park had some of the most wildlife interaction that I have experienced while in the country. The koala were all over in the nearby trees as well as the cockatoo flitting from tree to tree was just amazing to sit back and watch. Of course, there is great hiking as well and you will even see waterfalls during the winter months.

I look forward to bringing my family on my next visit to this wonderful country!

Canadian Honeymoon

This is the second time we have worked with Pam Hallberg. Once again, she exceeded our expectations. Worry-free vacation

I reached out to Travel Leader to help with vacation options for the winter. Pam was quick to offer several options that fit within our budget and travel dates. Pam helped arrange all our flights, hotels, cruise and travel insurance for all of us. She was quick to respond to any questions we had. She was great to work with and helped with everything. Solid Trip

Everything that Pam arranged for us was very nice and we were please with the hotels she recommended. It was also very convenient that all airfare & train tickets were booked by her. However, the planning of the trip did not go as smoothly as I would have hoped. At no point did Pam ever ask us about our budget prior to recommending travel arrangements. I think that is a big part of planning a big trip and the fact that she did not consider what was right for us based on our budget was a red flag. Also about 4 days before we left we realized not all train tickets had been booked so we needed to book them last minute, resulting in extra expedite fees. Not ideal. Again, I'm very happy with the way our trip turned out and feel the accommodations we booked were great, but there were few things that Pam could have improved on.

First Class Even For Economy Travel

Pam listened to us and created a plan that fit exactly what we described and matched our interests perfectly. Over 30 days, everything went like clockwork. Pam’s personal experience in the countries we traveled to and her understanding of what was possible and the time involved meant that we never felt rushed or worried about making a flight or missing a transfer. We were able to spend all our time enjoying where we were and not worrying about how we were going to get to the next place. If you are traveling to unfamiliar places and in need of complicated planning, trust a professional. Pam is a professional. We will be keeping her on speed dial.

Enjoyed every moment!

I have already referred Pam to several friends, working with her has been a positive experience starting from our first conversation. Best Travel Agent EVER!!!

Pam is hands down the best Travel Agent ever, she handled flawlessly all aspects of booking our very large group of family and friends on a Caribbean cruise. Another great trip booked with Pam!

Even with a pandemic happening around us, we were still able to safely get our family of 4 on a beautiful beach for a week of fun and relaxation. We couldn’t have navigated the ever-changing COVID restrictions without the help of Pam! We ended up completely rescheduling our trip 36 hours before we left and Pam was extremely responsive and made the rebook happen in such a short period of time. Amazing Italy Vacation

Thanks a million to Pam for helping us arrange an amazing vacation. She did such a nice job listening to what we liked to do and setting up a great trip. We were multiple different areas and all of the travel was set for us including all of the transportation. There were so many nice little surprises along the way including a private walking tour of Sorrento. Fun in the sun every December!!

10+ years ago I stopped at the Coon Rapids Carlson Travel to get some information on travelling to Mexico. Pam was sitting at her desk and one hour later I left with so much good information from someone who was friendly, knowledgeable, not pushy, and fun. Crazy trip with assistance needed!

Fun and easy extended family vacation!

We went on a vacation with extended family, and Pam took on all the hassle of trying to coordinate everyone's schedules, etc. She coordinated everything including transfers (including getting the proper car seats for all ages of kids) to hotels and to/from the cruise port, everyone's air travel, getting adjoining rooms on the cruise ship, notifying the airlines and cruise of food allergies, and answering questions on shore excursions. She was great to work with, willing to research/provide a multitude of different options, and always prompt in responding. She saved me hours of travel planning, and my sanity with planning a trip with extended family!!! It all was so EASY and we all had a blast! I have already contacted Pam about planning our next trip, and will continue using her in the future.

Great planner for my 2 week trip to Australia

Pam was able to create a well-thought-out itinerary for my 2 week trip to Australia in just a couple of days! This was crucial because our trip was coming up quickly so there was plenty of urgency. The tours and hotels that were chosen by Pam were all wonderful but, in particular, my friend and I very much enjoyed the day trip from Melbourne that included the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island. What an amazing experience that I may never see again. In closing, I recommend contacting Pam with travel guide requests to Australia.

Our Ireland /Spain trip of a lifetime!

Pam’s work with putting our trip together for Spain and Ireland was fantastic! We decided to take this trip about 2 months before we wanted to go and Pam was he only agent that was willing to take this last minute planning on for us. Family of 6, Amazing Adventures

We worked on planning this trip with Pam for a couple of months. She offered options to us regarding transportation, tours and sights. This trip was better then I ever expected!

I was skeptical on hiring a travel agent for our wedding trip but now that we did, I wouldn't recommend doing it any other way. Nothing is ever seamless, but I felt Pam bent over backwards to get things as close to seamless as possible during these crazy times.... and our crazy last minute decision! Wonderful honeymoon trip!

Insight tour

Pam Here is the testimonial you requested: We met Pam when we were planning a trip to Italy. She helped us pick out the tour company that met our needs which was Insight. She also booked a rental car for a few day prior to the tour so we could drive around on our own. Then 2 years later she helped us book another Insight Tour to Greece then 10 days on our own to the Amalfi coast in Italy. We have been very happy with Pam's recommendations and help. It so so much easier for the international travel to work with a professional then try to do it on our own. We also recommended Pam to a friend who worked with her to plan their honeymoon in Fiji. She made it all so easy!

Pam is the best! I can't say enough good things about my experience working with Pam - she is so friendly and easy to talk with; and works tirelessly to help you have a great trip. I always found Pam to be available when I needed help, and she jumped right in to solve any issues we had, or answer questions that came up. For example, when we missed a connection in Paris, thus causing us to miss our pre-arranged private transfer, Pam arranged for the hotel to meet us (which was a tremendously welcome site when arriving at midnight), and even got the original company to give us a refund. The travel app was really easy to use - it had our whole itinerary and all the documents at our hands. Pam even added in things that I had arranged on my own. Pam has a lot of knowledge and experience to help plan a trip and make things easier. I was particularly uneasy about the trains, but she made all the reservations and it turned out to be a breeze. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!

First All-inclusive Resort Experience

This was the second trip booked through Pam. She listened to what kind of experience we were looking for and totally delivered. She again exceeded our expectations, choosing the right resort and recommending fun activities in the area. Highly recommend!

Trip of a lifetime

My daughter, daughter-in-law, and I were about to embark on the trip of a lifetime. We were going to watch my grandson play hockey for team USA in Switzerland. Since I had never traveled overseas, I was somewhat nervous. Once I found Pam, all that nervousness dissipated. Pam was kind and patient. She listened to my wants and needs, then thoroughly researched and sent me options from which to choose. If I had a question, she promptly answered it. Because of Pam, our trip turned out to be a beautiful adventure.

Fun, Low-Stress Family Vacation

Pam is first of all very fun and exciting to work with planning your vacation. She thinks about and takes care of all the details I would probably forget about. She has made excellent recommendations, and is very flexible with changing plans. I've worked with her on several vacations now, and she's my go-to travel planner!

Best trip ever!!!

Everything was planned perfectly. The plane the shuttle to and from and check in went very smoothly. Even all the extra covid forms were provided up front and explained.

Wow! Best trip ever!

Pam was so wonderful to work with! We just made the phone call to her as to where we wanted to go on vacation and she took from there; setting up the plane tickets, hotel and the fun activities of thing we would want to do on our trip. We will be definitely be contacting Pam again for our future travels. (Alaska & Hawaii) Thank you Pam for all your help! :)

Getting certified and diving in Cozumel

She was and still is great. Most of our trips were scuba diving experiences which really took some research. She isn't a diver so we appreciated her extra efforts to get our trip booked and questions answered.

Just what we were looking for!

Pam was great to work with. I was in search of a vacation destination for a long weekend neither my wife nor I have ever been to. I shared with her places we have traveled in the past and what we enjoy. She presented several packages to choose from and left it up to me. We had our toes in the sand, found lots of live music, and a variety of things to do that interest us. Competitive pricing and no hassle, will definitely use her services again!
