Paradise Found In FIJI with Travel Specialist
Fiji is one of those destinations that was life changing for me.
It wasn't just because of the beautiful beaches and water but, more so the people of Fiji. I was able to tour the Northern Islands specifically and had no idea how this area would differ from the more fast paced area of Nadi.
One of the most memorable experiences was the way guests are greeted at the resorts of the Northern Islands. From the moment the doors open on your vehicle you are welcomed with smiling faces and cheerful songs. The staff also bids farewell in this manner at the end of your stay. I felt welcome the whole time and at every property.
An example of this welcoming feeling is when you were asked "How are you today?" They really wanted to know. The other thing I noticed on more than one occasion was when we were shuttling between local attractions it was a common practice to stop to pick up elderly pedestrians walking along the roadside. There is great respect for the elders of the area.
While staying at the Qamea Resort & Spa on Qamea Island I had the opportunity to visit a local school. We arrived toward the end of the day so, we were able to experience their end of the day routine. Here is where I was reminded of my childhood. The children each had a job to do in the classroom before they were excused to the courtyard. Some were sweeping the floors, some were cleaning chalk boards others were washing windows or stacking chairs. Once they were excused to the courtyard the children lined up single file by grade while the principal discussed the days events. After the principal was done talking the Fiji Scouts (their version of Boy Scouts) lead the group in the pledge of Allegiance to the Fijian Flag followed by the lowering and folding of the flag. Once this was done the children were excused to wait for their boat to bring them back to their village.
It was such a wonderful sight to see all the children running and playing soccer in the courtyard! There were no video games! I left this country feeling a sense of peace and like I was saying farewell to family. I will hold those experiences near and dear to my heart the rest of my life.

Solid Trip
Everything that Pam arranged for us was very nice and we were please with the hotels she recommended. It was also very convenient that all airfare & train tickets were booked by her. However, the planning of the trip did not go as smoothly as I would have hoped. At no point did Pam ever ask us about our budget prior to recommending travel arrangements. I think that is a big part of planning a big trip and the fact that she did not consider what was right for us based on our budget was a red flag. Also about 4 days before we left we realized not all train tickets had been booked so we needed to book them last minute, resulting in extra expedite fees. Not ideal. Again, I'm very happy with the way our trip turned out and feel the accommodations we booked were great, but there were few things that Pam could have improved on.

Pam listened to us and created a plan that fit exactly what we described and matched our interests perfectly. Over 30 days, everything went like clockwork. Even with a pandemic happening around us, we were still able to safely get our family of 4 on a beautiful beach for a week of fun and relaxation. We couldn’t have navigated the ever-changing COVID restrictions without the help of Pam! Fun and easy extended family vacation!
We went on a vacation with extended family, and Pam took on all the hassle of trying to coordinate everyone's schedules, etc. She coordinated everything including transfers (including getting the proper car seats for all ages of kids) to hotels and to/from the cruise port, everyone's air travel, getting adjoining rooms on the cruise ship, notifying the airlines and cruise of food allergies, and answering questions on shore excursions. She was great to work with, willing to research/provide a multitude of different options, and always prompt in responding. She saved me hours of travel planning, and my sanity with planning a trip with extended family!!! It all was so EASY and we all had a blast! Pam was able to create a well-thought-out itinerary for my 2 week trip to Australia in just a couple of days! Pam is the best! I can't say enough good things about my experience working with Pam - she is so friendly and easy to talk with; and works tirelessly to help you have a great trip. I always found Pam to be available when I needed help, and she jumped right in to solve any issues we had, or answer questions that came up. For example, when we missed a connection in Paris, thus causing us to miss our pre-arranged private transfer, Pam arranged for the hotel to meet us (which was a tremendously welcome site when arriving at midnight), and even got the original company to give us a refund. The travel app was really easy to use - it had our whole itinerary and all the documents at our hands. Pam even added in things that I had arranged on my own. Pam has a lot of knowledge and experience to help plan a trip and make things easier. I was particularly uneasy about the trains, but she made all the reservations and it turned out to be a breeze. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her!

Trip of a lifetime
My daughter, daughter-in-law, and I were about to embark on the trip of a lifetime. We were going to watch my grandson play hockey for team USA in Switzerland. Since I had never traveled overseas, I was somewhat nervous. Once I found Pam, all that nervousness dissipated. Pam was kind and patient. The best trip ever
Working with Pam is unbelievable. I've travelled to 25 countries and never before I worked with someone so diligent, hardworking, professional, and caring in helping us plan our annual vacation. We started to plan in Dec 2024, initially thinking about Italy but later in Jan 2025 we decided to do Switzerland and Austria. Pam made the entire itinerary, made everything smooth for us, shared all details, worked through several changes, and also included special requests like child car seats, Eagles's Nest and Budapest tours, Mozart concert etc. for us. Pam booked us an amazing trip to Mexico! We stayed at the Moxché Impressions Resort in Playa del Carmen, and it was absolutely incredible. She found us such a great deal that we saved over $10,000 on our 7-day stay, which made the trip even better.
Bonus- We had originally booked a Chichén Itzá tour, but once we saw how fantastic the resort was, we didn’t want to spend a whole day away. Our trip to NZ would have never happened without Pam! We only had a few days on South Island, and I was LOST when it came to figuring out the best use of our time and how to maximize it. Our requirements for travel over the holidays included a handicap accessible room for my parents and a room for our family of four.
