Hello, my name is Lene and I love to share the love of travel and exploring new and wonderful destinations with my clients.

I am a native of Norway where I still have family and friends. In addition to having lived most of my life here in Northern Virginia with my husband and twin boys I have also lived in Norway, Denmark, England, Belgium, and France as well as Detroit, Michigan.

I own a travel agency called Perfectly Planned Journeys which I started in 2016 after having owned a Cruise Planners franchise for 6 years.

Perfectly Planned Journeys is a full-service travel agency specializing in niche journeys for small groups of like-minded people, and customized individual travel. 

Owning my franchise taught me the fundamentals of the travel industry and made me realize that my passion is working with clients who are looking for customized experiences that are tailored to their own interests, needs, and dreams. 

I believe that since we are all unique with different likes and dislikes, our well-deserved vacations should reflect that, not be "off the rack" trips that clients can easily find on the internet or in a brochure.   A pre-packaged trip will most likely not be a perfect match to your wish-list.  Why make a compromise on this very special time?  For this reason, I also try to customize small groups as much as possible.

I work primarily with clients traveling to Europe, but I also curate trips to other destinations in the world.
