I have always had a passion for travel and was fortunate enough to meet my best mate who equals that drive to see the world, my husband of almost 30 years now. We have been blessed to see a lot of this world together already and we are not planning to slow down anytime soon.

It still amazes me that I have been to more than 20 different countries around the globe, many of them more than once. I've been on 5 different cruises to different locations around the world, lounged on the beaches of Cuba 7 times, experienced the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands 6 times, and travelled to the bottom tip of Chile too.

I have experienced great trips on shoe-string budgets and fabulous trips at luxurious accommodations too. I love them all.

I love finding those little gems - not necessarily what everyone else would think of, or always think to look for. I like finding activities or accommodations that can often result in connecting with locals, exploring a place just a little bit further, and sometimes even finding out some of the odd secrets of a locale - like the only way to actually see the inside of the Vatican City ;)

I am fairly new to planning for others, but I know that my education, wealth of experience and my dynamic network of connections is of great value to my clients, both current and future. I get excited to dream with others about their trips as much as I do my own.

Every year I take members of my team to a conference held in a different location in the USA. Last year I was the travel agent, booking hotels and finding the best flights and making all of the arrangements while trying to accomplish my daytime tasks at work. This year I handed the information for the 5 of us over to Joanne with the list of seating requirements and she handled it seamlessly from beginning to end. She checked in with me when we had arrived to ensure everything had gone to plan. We had a few hiccups thanks to the Airline and she jumped on it and got us all set for the trip home with no issues. She reached out again when we got back for an update and offered any further assistance. Joanne assisted with booking our trip in September and made it the easiest trip planning I've ever experienced! We had some pretty vague details to provide at the onset as the only set item was needing to be in New York to attend a wedding on a specific date. Everything else was wide open (flexible departure dates, length of travel, etc.) and we wanted to build a vacation around it. Joanne worked with us, going over a variety of ideas we had, giving us options, and in the end we not only booked four days in New York but a few days in Montreal (another city we have always wanted to visit) as well! We travelled for a full week for less than our budget for a few days in New York! She found us an incredible hotel in Manhattan which we would recommend to absolutely anyone to check out as well; it was a fantastic property and a very convenient location for exploring New York - it was the envy of others who had travelled down there! Yes, I am possibly one of the most challenging customers... For the last 10 years I have been booking my own travel, usually encompassing air, hotels, car rentals, and hating every minute of it.
