With numerous Alaska cruises under my belt (and another scheduled for Sept. 2023), I am able to provide advice and recommendations on how to make the most of your time during each port stop of your cruise.

There are so many options available from whale watching, a salmon bake, visiting a glacier, riding an old time train through the mountains, taking a helicopter ride to land on a glacier, dog sledding, zip lining or just visiting original, historical sites.

With so much to see and do, you may want to extend your Alaska cruise with a land tour that starts in either Fairbanks or Anchorage. Alaska is such a bucket list trip, it's important to make sure you do it right!!!

Panama Cruise

Beverly is a fantastic travel agent. She did a wonderful job organizing our large group 10-day Panama Canal cruise, including many interesting tours. She did the best job possible to get us the most amenities. We all had a great experience. Many thanks go to Beverly!

Long relationship

My family and I have been cruising with Beverly for over 15 years! Anything we need done, she knows how to do it, from the best itineraries, best cabins on almost every different ship. She gives great advice on packing, boarding, dining, disembarcation. Beverly is knowledgeable, fun, well-cruised herself, so she speaks with experience when she makes recommendations. I strongly recommend Beverly to all my friends, and we cruise together. So if you are thinking of a cruise once everything opens up, Beverly will make it fun and safe!

Excellent communication

Beverly worked diligently with our group from Minnesota for several months to help set-up a cruise of the Panama Canal. She was ready with immediate responses to all of our questions starting with choosing the cruise line, keeping us up-to-date on the chosen cruise’s specials and discounts that became available during the months preceding our cruise, hotel stay before the cruise, transfers from the hotel to the ship, organizing Tours by Locals in the ports, and accompanying us on the tour. My husband and I can’t say enough about Beverly’s excellent communication skills and professional knowledge. We give Beverly nothing less than 5 Stars for her hard work. There was not a single glitch during our 10 day cruise. Feel confident to choose Beverly for your travel planning.

First Cruise

Beverly is so great to work with. If you want a worry free vacation she is your go to person! We had a great 10 day cruise to Panama despite the Corona virus pandemic. She arranged our tours to Aruba, Curcao and Costa Rica. Panama would not let us leave our ship. I would highly recommend Cruising Smart!!

Wonderful Adventures

We've done 3 cruises with Beverly, and she organized our land trip to Belize. She is an excellent travel agent. She's thorough, competent, and has a great personality. She seems to have connections all over the world, so she can get the best guides for land tours. She often goes on the cruises with her groups and is accessible if anything is needed before the trip and while onboard. I would highly recommend Beverly to anyone planning a trip, whether a cruise or land adventure.

Most knowledgeable

Beverly is the best cruising consultant. She KNOWS every cruise line and every ship. She is familiar with every excursion and she can find you the best deals.

The cruise that almost wasn't

Beverly did a fantastic job organizing our Panama cruise in March 2020. Unfortunately Covid 19 was just spreading when we were to embark so some guests chose to stay home. As it turned out, no one got sick on the cruise. We had wonderful tours in Aruba, Curaçao, and Costa Rica. Panama would not permit us to go ashore, but we did go in and out of several locks. Overall, Beverly was a champ in arranging a large group cruise, changing our bookings many times to get us the best amenities, and kept with us throughout the 10 days to make sure everything ran smoothly. She is definitely the best travel agent with a 10+ rating (6 stars) from our whole group.
