When it came time to launch Trish York Travel in 2014, I had a decision to make – would I sell the world or would I specialize in what I know best? Turns out it was an easy decision not only because I know Europe well but I also love Europe. There’s something to be said for doing what you love and my passion is introducing first time visitors to all that Europe can offer and finding new destinations for my experienced European travelers. 

Europe is such a special place to visit with so many diverse countries and cities. When people ask my favorite European country it’s impossible to name just one. For charming villages that means Germany, for the most beautiful scenery and mountains it’s Switzerland, for champagne France, for wonderful food Italy, for great pub life Ireland and so on. Working with an experienced travel advisor helps you narrow down the choices and provide a realistic itinerary. As much as we would like, you really can’t see all of Europe in a week. Even a week in one country is often not enough. That means you need to keep coming back!

There are many options on how to see these unique countries. You can join a small group tour via bus, enjoy a river cruise, sit back with a private driver in a Mercedes or BMW, or travel by rail or car - who doesn't want to drive on the Autobahn?! My favorite trips to plan are river cruises with some time for pre and post cruise exploration or fully independent trips with a rental car or train. Don’t worry, you won’t be on your own. I will provide a detailed itinerary (via an app or a hard copy if you prefer) with driving directions, hotels, city guides, restaurant suggestions and tours. The entire trip will be laid out day-by-day with some downtime built in so you can still enjoy a coffee or glass of wine at a sidewalk café and watch the world go by.
