Exploring Jamaica
In October 2023 my family and I headed to Lucea, Jamaica. Lucea is located between Montego Bay and Negril and is about a 45 minute shared transfer ride from Sangster International Airport.
When visiting Jamaica, you will need to complete an online C5 form prior to arriving. This can be done up to 30 days prior to your arrival in Jamaica and is mandatory. Make sure the information you enter is accurate because even if you have 1 digit wrong from you passport number or any other important information you will be delayed in getting through the already very busy airport. The airport is hot and the lines are long but you they are very organized. One way to breeze through customs and immigration is to pay for Club Mobay which will see an employee take you from your airplane right past all of the lines and fast track you to baggage. If you are arriving during the busy season, or on a busier day this service is worth the money but book early because they only book a certain amount of people each day!
US currency is widely used across the island and is preferred on most resorts. We stayed the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton and all the shops were priced in USD. This was a very large resort with a lot of walking, but they do have trollys to take you around. The resort was lively with daily and nightly entertainment, live music, free non-motorized water sports and more! If sports are your thing the Sportbar features multiple large screen TV's with sports, pool tables, and good old American favourites like wings, nachos and more. Be prepared though, the wing sauce is HOT. Even the BBQ is very spicy and Buffalo was too hot for most of us to eat. Still, the AC was nice and cold and the drinks colder!
We ventured off resort on day to do a private excursion at Mayfield Falls. Jamaican time is a real thing so when the ride we were told would be 45 minutes was actually an hour and a half we werent surprised. The roads for the first part were great, better than Mexico, but then we hit deep into the Jamaican countryside through the mountains and the roads are very very bad. At one point our driver was going around each pot hole so that we didn't end up stranded in a broken down van. The countryside is breathtaking, and if you strum up conversation with your driver you will learn alot, such as sugarcane and how they set the fields on fire for an easier harvest. Lots of home are abandoned and the level of poverty is seen constantly. Mayfield Falls is not government run so the money they make goes directly to the families and children that need it most in that area. Its an experience you don't want to miss!
The people in Jamaica on the resort are for the most part very friendly, and appreciative of any tips. They work hard to make your stay a memorable one. The food is good and the drinks are cold, but take a thermal cup as they melt fast, the temps didn't get below 28 degrees at night!

Mexico Christmas 2024
Lisa booked a one-week all-inclusive holiday to Mexico for my family of four (12 & 14-year-old kids) over the Christmas holiday. I reached out to Lisa because she advertised as being very knowledgeable about food allergies. My son has celiac disease and I was concerned about safely feeding him.

Fantastic experience
This was our 1st year with Lisa Dunne as our representative. Lisa listened to our wish list of destinations and type of experience we wanted on our winter trip. Lisa was very helpful with giving us many options and extremely patient with us deciding on our final decision. The process took many weeks of Lisa sending us ideas of different resorts and helping us stick to our budget plan. We just came back from our trip and were extremely happy with our experience at our destination. Hotel was clean, comfy, even the kids had fun
My husband, kids, and myself had a trip booked for Florida this past November. Our departure flight was booked for 10am, although that's not too early, with having kids and trying to beat Toronto traffic, we were trying to avoid feeling rushed and stressed, we decided to stay at a hotel the night before. Knowing Lisa was in the travel business, I reached out to her to see if she had any recommendations on nearby hotels near Pearson Airport. Not even 5 minutes went by and she had already priced out hotels (including parking for the week!) for us and made sure the hotels offered an indoor pool for the kids and breakfast in the morning. She was so proactive and quick, she took the stress of shopping around and made it so easy for us! I will be talking to Lisa again for our next trip and recommend her to anyone looking for vacations. Cuba to Mexico

Lisa was super helpful in the early stages of planning our trip. Her intake form is super handy and allows you to provide all of the pertinent details for the vacation you are dreaming of. She suggested a stunning new resort for our trip, but it wasn't a good fit for us—it's still ironing out some operational issues and appears to be struggling with management overload. I believe she could have put more effort into selecting a resort that better accommodated my celiac disease by providing reliable gluten-free options. One amazing agent, two toddlers, three plane rides
I found Lisa through local community Facebook groups, with the hope of planning our family's first all-inclusive vacation. I first contacted her in May, and her communication and professionalism was top-notch from the start. My spouse and I have stressful jobs, two young children, and not a whole lot of extra time! Lisa followed up regularly with me, without pressure or being pushy, sending us plenty of options within our budget, tailored to our requests. Everything went seamlesslessly, thanks to an app with all of the information we could possibly need, broken down by day, as well as detailed email instructions highlighting key pieces. Halfway through our wonderful trip, Lisa notified us of the impending Air Canada flight attendant strike and what this means for our return home. We felt very nervous, uncertain, and scared. We did a self drive tour of Portugal landing in Lisbon and driving between Porto and Douro Valley. Then driving down to Algarve then to Lisbon. We were able to visit Porto, Douro Valley, Aveiro, Nazare, Lagos, Lisbon and Sintra. I would highly recommend Lisa and will use her again.

Mexican Getaway
From initial contact until we arrived back home was a very smooth and easy process. We usually find and book our own travel but we decided we needed a late winter escape from work stress and reached out for options for all inclusive getaways in March or April. This trip was truly remarkable and exceptionally relaxing. Our room was conveniently located near all the amenities, with less than a five-minute walk to the lobby, buffet, and pool areas. It was also in close proximity to the Gulf. During the day, we would sit by the pool and enjoy our time, while in the evening, we could on our patio and listen to the music.

We were looking for an all inclusive weeks away in early spring and reached out to Lisa 8 months before with a scenario, a budget and specifications. Within 2 days she gave us multiple options and after looking them over and doing a little research on each one we selected one that worked best for us. The trip ended up being exactly what we needed, good weather , nice surroundings, good food options and relaxed setting when we wanted it but access to different resorts with different vibes whenever we chose . Discovering the West Coast of Canada was a wonderful experience that I hope everyone gets a chance to do one day. We aren't really a "relax on the beach for a week " kind of family so hiking the Coastal Mountains, exploring the beaches , riding the Sea to Sky Gondola, taking a road trip to Whistler on the Sea to Sky Highway and stopping at the provincial parks along the way, and traversing many suspension bridges was right up our alley. Lisa helped get an early flight home for one in our party due to a scheduling error on our part. Lisa was very helpful every step of the way.

Wonder of the Seas Cruise
