Anthem of the Seas Christmas New Years Cruise

As a kid I spent the Christmas New Years break on cruises. We sailed out of New York City. It was many years later after finishing school and having my own family that I took another cruise over the holidays.

We sailed on the Anthem of the Seas on a 10 night Christmas New Years cruise from Bayonne New Jersey in a Junior Suite. a Junior suite gives you a bigger cabin and the opportunity to have dinner in Coastal Kitchen. Coastal Kitchen is for suite guests. If you are in a grand suite one gets to have breakfast, lunch and dinner there. We ate most of our meals in one of the main dining rooms. We also ate at Chops and Jamie's.

It was nice sailing from New Jersey even though the first day out was cold. We visited Labadee, Haiti where my daughter went zip lining. We spent the day on the private island that belongs to Royal Caribbean. We went to San Juan, St Thomas and St Maarten which is half French and half Dutch.

I always like going to St Thomas. We went shopping in the morning and then went back to the ship for lunch. IN the afternoon we went to Megan's Bay which is one of my two favorite beaches. The other one is in St John called Trunk Bay.

For those looking to go shopping St Thomas and St Maarten are two of the best places to go duty free shopping.

Wonderful Family Cruise

Guiding Us Through A Cruise

Perfect Honeymoon Experience

Cruising
