Gives detailed explanations and will research questions and get the answers for you. Each trip we have done has been very wonderful thanks to her input and suggestions. We Called It Our Adventure of a Lifetime
My husband and I wanted to take a trip to Alaska, a trip to remember, to lead to more travel. But where to begin. We had no experience in planning an "adventure of a lifetime". Then we met CJ McMullen of Excellent Adventures. There it was, right in the title and we couldn't have been in better hands.
From the very first meeting, CJ was personable, genuine, demonstrating thoughtfulness as we began sharing what we hoped our trip would look like. She took notes, adding tips and tidbits from her years in the travel business and personal first-hand background in Alaskan tours. She didn't overwhelm us and we felt grateful, looking forward to our next meeting where she would introduce us to a variety of options.
As we continued to meet and plan with CJ, through email, text and in person when we felt the need, out Princess land and cruise trip took shape before our eyes. There was nothing left to chance, no question was treated with off-handedness, no request was too much. CJ gave us invalu

Awesome
We were weary on trying out another travel agent but cj changed my mind. She went above and beyond. She listened to us and had many recommendations and explain anythin we needed to know. Even checked up on us before during and after our trip. And when we came back she could tell are trip wasn't perfect and went back and talked to the resort and ended up getting some money off the trip.

Personal Attention
Every time we work with CJ she makes us feel like we're the most important clients she has. She goes out of her way to research and present us with options in our travel arrangements, and make recommendations based on her extensive experience. She also follows up with us after our travel to get our feedback and experiences so she has more information to use for future trips.

Extremely helpful and informative!
CJ was helpful all the way from the beginning of planning until after the trip! We told her where we wanted to go and she gave us plenty of options of what we might like to do. We had a couple of hiccups on our trip from the hotel itself and she informed us next time to let her know while on the trip, but that did not stop her. She helped fix the problem after we were already home. CJ is fantastic at what she does and we would recommend her to anyone who needs a travel agent!

Worry free trips
We met CJ shortly after I retired. CJ has helped us plan several trips. Each trip we were well informed, every detail taken care of. The trip that stands out for me was our trip to Italy. CJ listened to our requests then matched a tour to us. Italy was the perfect trip and it began our international journeys.

Viking trips
We met CJ at a Viking cruise seminar. We booked a Christmas Market Viking river cruise. It was wonderful! Thanks to CJ, Viking people were everywhere, at the airport,customs and baggage handling,Limo to our two night hotel stay in Amsterdam prior to our cruise starting. The cruise was wonderful, very Christmasy with many stops. We also spent two night after the cruise in Lucerne prior to returning home. We we so impressed with Viking and CJ,s planning and guidance that we booked an Alaskan ocean cruise next. That was stunning.All arrangements by CJ were perfect. We have now moved full time to Florida, having sold our Michigan home. My wife,Sue and our daughter, Shannon are using CJ to book their trip this May(2025)on Princess to Great Britain and France. They expect CJ,s usual quality work to follow. Due to some physical issues myself, I will be staying in Florida.We are very pleased with CJ and will use her services again in the future

South Pacific Cruise with Princess Cruises
Flew from Detroit to Dallas then on to Brisbane to refuel. Next stop Sydney for a four day land package. Had an awesome time touring around Sydney even walk on top of the Sydney bridge. Sailed to Melbourne and then made our way to Hobart, Tasmania. West to New Zealand . Cj helped to plan our trip with many suggestions to make everything go without a hitch. Very easy to work with and always made sure our questions were answered.

An absolutely amazing trip!!!
CJ has planned several trips for us, the last being a 3 week trip to Italy. She provided many different options and asked plenty of questions in order to understand our expectations and preferences and then planned a trip that suited us perfectly! She was so organized, thought of every detail, and planned an amazing trip! We are currently working with CJ for our next trip, an African safari. I'm sure it will be a trip of a lifetime!

Great Bucket List Trip!

Where we go for travel planning
I was recommended to CJ by a co-worker for our first cruise many years ago. Her level of service and detail has led to having her book an additional 6 Caribbean and Alaskan cruises and 2 resort vacations in Punta Cana. I can't imagine having to do all the arrangements myself. especially without the expertise of being "in the know".

Trip of a lifetime
I asked Cj to plan a trip for my son/I to a train trip called, Rocky Mountaineer. It was a fantastic 11 day trip by train through Jasper, Yoho, and Banff National Parks. <br/>Included in the trip we had a breakfast and lunch each day on board the train with different items offered at each meal.<br/>One of the highlights of our trip was staying the night at a Hotel on Lake Louise where CJ, made sure we had a lake side view of one of the most beautiful scenes I have ever witnessed. <br/>I must not forget that once we arrived at the airport in Vancouver we were greeted by Star Limousine who took our baggage and drove us to our hotel (driver gratuities included). In all of my travels I've never had someone waiting with a sign and a limousine at an airport to take us to our hotel!<br/>I would offer one item of advice, go with the Gold level trip. It gives you the top views of scenery as well as your own private dining car for breakfast and lunch.<br/>My second recommendation would be to book your tri

Viking Ocean cruise is next!
I would like to take a moment to praise CJ McMullen for her guidance on all of my travel requirements for the past 10 years. Will travel with Cj again and Rocky Mountaineer!!
Cj recommended our train trip called, Rockies to Red Rock and it was incredible. We were given several options as far as excursions and were treated with excellent care. The train was very comfortable. The meals were exquisite and the scenery was amazing. Her customer service was very professional. She always makes sure that we understood all details of our trips including this one where we had a very thorough itinerary and the hotels were top of the line. <br/>

Best trip ever!
CJ far exceeded our expectations on our recent family trip to Jamaica. She explained everything really well, handled all our airfare, lodging, and transportation needs. Throughout the whole experience was she always available to answer any questions we had. We will use Excellent Adventures again, and I look forward to it!
