Cruising is one of my favorite ways to travel! I love the convenience of having to unpack once yet see multiple islands, cities and countries. Onboard there are endless activities that appeal to a wide variety of ages and types of travelers. My cruising expertise is vast, having personally spent nearly 200 days at sea on numerous ships across countless cruise lines. We had such a wonderful trip to Portugal in May with Sam and her fun group on AMA Cruiselines. It was our first River Cruise and Portugal was so beautiful, such great service and so many fun things to do and see. The food was also great and wine was flowing. We were worried about the space limits in the cabins but they were really well thought out and did not feel too small, especially with the little outside balcony. Sam and her husband actually joined for this cruise and they are both so fun - and she did several "extras" for us like a very special wine tasting one morning on board. We can't wait for the next trip - maybe the Danube?

I had a cruise that went out of the port of Barcelona in mid-September. When I asked her for some suggestions, she not only booked transfers to and from BCN, but she suggested and booked a hotel for me within the Gothic Quarter, an area I would never have thought of going to. Not only was the hotel nice and in a safe area, but the hotel was within walking distance to major destinations, as well as the Metro. She even offered advice on where to go and what to see, as well as where to eat. She also did her due diligence when booking the hotel, seeing reviews and letting me know of any potential issues that would affect me during my stay. Finally, and most importantly, she kept up with me whenever she saw a potential change in bookings, both before and during, to make sure that I would not be affected greatly by any changes that may have occurred. Sam built a creative and unique trip for us on short notice. She was awesome to work with and thought of fun ideas that I never would have.
