I’ve been in the travel industry since 2005. I love to travel, and I especially love researching and planning my trips that include family vacations, reunions and birthday celebrations. After coordinating 4 weddings and wanting to make the experience a complete one that included destination weddings or honeymoons I felt that the most logical step was to become a travel agent. Becoming a travel agent has allowed me to use my skills and bring happiness to families, brides and grooms and myself when I have exceeded their expectations.
I possess several industry and vendor certifications including Caribbean Tourist Organization – Destination Specialist; Hawaii Destination Specialist; Antigua & Barbuda and Outrigger Expert. Some of my favorite travel destinations are Hawaii; Barbados and other locations that include warm weather and beaches. I'm also a big history buff so I love traveling to countries where I can enrich my knowledge. I’ve planned over 10 destination weddings in both Mexico and Jamaica. My planning included providing the bride-to-be with marriage requirements in several countries which aided in the couple’s decision making. I have planned 12 trips that included vow renewals in Hawaii and Jamaica.
I think family is so important and a family vacation creates a lasting memory. I have planned 12 family vacations in Mexico, multiple days tour of Western Europe as well as the Dominican Republic. The thanks from the families when they returned is one of the reasons why I love what I do. I’ve arranged couples as well as 25 group cruises on various cruise lines. I love the travel industry because it is dynamic and as an agent I need to be able to respond to that as well as clients needs. I value vendor and industry training because it helps to make me a better agent.
