Several Memorable Adventures

Best Responsive & Knowledgeable Travel Agent
I have booked a few cruises with MGA Travel and I am always amazed at the thoroughness and promptness of Michael and his team. Our most recent experience was a trip with the Outlander Society to Greece and a cruise to the Greek Isles and Dubrovnik. Michael and his wife Kelly led the group of 20 and were on top of everything at all times. We stayed in the finest hotel in Athens, the Grande Bretagne, and it was magnificent. We toured together and had a dinner together at a local restaurant and it was excellent. Michael took care of every detail on the cruise itself aboard the amazing Celebrity Apex. He arranged a group departure at the end of the cruise so we all had our own coach to the airport so none of us were ever on our own trying to figure things out. The only way to travel!
All the trips we booked through Michael were top notch! Whether it be a bus trip, ocean cruise, or River cruise everything is taken care of. Even the unexpected details.

SOS at Sea
I have been a part of the SOS at Sea Committee for the last 7 years. I was introduced to Michael by Elaine Harrington, Owner of the OD Arcade in Ocean Drive. Michael and I worked together to find a cruise that would fit the needs of our SOS family. The rest is history. We have been together for the last 7 years, and had a great relationship.

Best Responsive & Knowledgeable Travel Agent
I initially attended a Celebrity in person session on a British Isles Cruise and then followed up with Michael to book the trip. I have since then booked additional trips with Michael and he is very responsive to any questions I have. I have travelled on 31 cruises plus land tours and visited 85 countries and I have found Michale to be extremely helpful in knowing the kinds of trips we like.

Fantastic Christmas Wonderland!
Michael provided excellent service in planning and booking a fantastic Viking Christmas Markets River Cruise. Pre- and post- trips were the perfect addition. When another ocean cruise was canceled due to Covid, he kept us informed and did everything possible to resolve the situation.

Elegance of France

Greenland Grandeur
The trip to Greenland and Iceland was the most fulfilling adventure of my life, particularly the Greenland camp experience. It was not an “easy” trip, but I did not expect it to be. The thrill and beauty of the camp experience is almost indescribable. As always, Michael went overboard to meet everyone’s needs

Cavin/Iceland and Ireland
I've been working with Michael for about 7 years on Group Tours. We booked this cruise about 18 moths ago. We started off with 8 couples, and ended up with 45 people. We worked with Elyse Monroe, and she took care of all our transportation. We spent 3 days pre cruise in Amsterdam, and Elyse took care of the hotel reservations, and 3 tours there., plus a dinner on our last night in Amsterdam. Elyse set up all transportation to and from the ship. This eliminated any stress that might have come up for the group. Was everything perfect? No it never is, however, Elyse took care of all issues that came up. We were certainly glad to have her with us. The itinerary was excellent , and one we waited 18 months for.

The Most Magical Trip
We never had to worry about the small details of any of the trips. I would call this peaceof mind. First night we stayed at a charming boutique hotel in Chur Switzerland.The side garden was lovely with tables & umbrellas with string of lights overhead, and a good glass of wine. He always manages to pick out charming restaurants and hotels that show the flavor of the places we visit.

Our best vacations have been with Michael.
My wife and I have traveled with Michael and his staff on two occasions in the past few years, and we have another scheduled trip next year with him. We have thoroughly enjoyed our vacations with him, as he thinks of everything and is so good at organization and preparation. When you travel with he and his staff, they encourage your questions, suggestions and input. We had the trip of a lifetime when we traveled to Alaska for 13 days with him in 2017. It was so much fun with all the activities he had planned, and the breathtaking scenery and modes of transport he provided us with. But then we went to Italy, Malta and Greece last year, with a 10 day cruise and added a three day land tour of Rome. What an outstanding experience that was. And when you let Michael do the planning and worry about the logistics, you have a stress-free time of your life. We highly recommend Michael and his staff for a vacation you will always remember, and the friends you make that add to the experience.

Tauck cruise of the Greek Isles.
Michael and his staff at MGA Travel are great to work with. They respond to all of our questions and concerns quickly and professionally. They really care about their clients. I have recommended them to several of our friends. We traveled with Michael and his wife Kelly on a Tauck Greek Isle tour and he provided a wonderful experience for everyone in our group.

Apex September 2021
I had a wonderful cruise on Apex with a brief stop in Greece in September 2021. Michael and Kelly accompanied our group and everything went like clockwork. Several friends did not think I should go on this cruise, but it was probably the best one I’ve taken. Michael had everything organized and kept abreast of the changing COVID requirements Also the low capacity of travelers on the ship made it easy to get chairs at pool and dining reservations. We had one group dinner, then we were free to get together with whomever we chose. As Michael kept us informed of what we needed to do, I felt safe and comfortable on the cruise. Michael and Kelly made sure everyone got on their assigned flights in Athens by staying an extra day to do so. This attention to detail is unheard of in my opinion. A wonderful experience! Thank you.
