The first time I went to Paris was 30 years ago when I was living in London and we took the ferry from Dover to Calais to get there. Since then I have returned many times including with my children when they were young, and one of my favorite memories is when my husband and I took them to Jardin des Tuileries (Tuileries Garden) which is located between the Louvre and the Place de la Concorde. Our kids loved this park because there was an amusement arcade (which is set up during the summer) with all sorts of attractions, including bumper cars, a wooden horses merry-go-round, hall of mirrors, and more. Best of all, they made huge cotton candy lollipops which the kids loved! You can also rent toy sailing boats to sail on the large pond close to the carousel. 

On these trips over the years I shopped on the Champs Elysee, saw the Mona Lisa in the Louvre, climbed the Eiffel Tower, visited Notre Dame before the awful fire, and traveled outside Paris to lovely towns like Chartres known for its spectacular Gothic cathedral. I have also taken the Eurostar from Paris to London which makes combining these two fabulous cities so easy!

More recently, I was in Paris with my husband for a long weekend and it was such a wonderful getaway. We stayed in the Left Bank and enjoyed beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower on our walks around the city during the day and at night when it was all lit up and the lights sparkled making every evening magical. Some of the highlights of this trip were our day trip to the Palace of Versailles, our afternoon in Montmartre, and our tasting dinner with wine pairing at Mumi restaurant. For wine and food lovers, Paris is THE place to enjoy both! 

On another recent trip to Paris, I was honored to be invited by my Preferred Luxury Vacation Wholesale Partner, Classic Vacations, on a Travel Agent Educational Trip where we had the opportunity to experience luxury 5 and 4 Star Hotels in the heart of this amazing city. We stayed at the Mandarin Paris and the Bristol Paris. Just WOW! We also had special tours and exclusive dinners at all of these luxury properties: Hotel De Crillon, Hotel Lutetia, Hotel Montalembert, Bel Ami, Hotel Edouard VII, Castille Paris. We climbed to the top of the Arc de Triomphe (280 steps in total) and had the best views of the city from this vantage point.

Another special event I have been privileged to attend in France is ILTM in Cannes. This is an invitation only luxury travel show held at the Palais des Festivals, and it truly is the end-of-year show that everyone in the luxury travel industry wants to be at. Four days of high-quality pre-scheduled appointments, educational sessions, networking, parties, and invaluable exposure sum up the incredible ILTM experience. 

The takeaways from this event and others like it that I attend, along with my personal travel experiences, are that I bring a wealth of knowledge, attention to detail, and client focused service to each and every trip I plan so that my clients will come away from their vacation experience with memories that they will cherish forever.
