Our mission at Vacation is to inspire and guide your travels, but in the wake of Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Harvey, our priority is to help you make safe travel choices. We know that times like these are uncertain and can be life-changing, but our travel agents are working tirelessly to assist impacted travelers.
Last week, our hearts went out to the displaced residents as we looked on as bystanders to the devastation in Texas. But we couldn’t be pedestrian about trying to help those in need; so, we set up boxes in our offices in New York City, Plymouth, Minne., and Alexandria, Virginia, to donate money and items such as non-perishable items, baby food and diapers to the Red Cross.
And now, with Irma expected to hit the Florida Keys on Sunday morning (between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m.), it’s only right that we continue our efforts to support those in need. We stand with South Florida, Houston and areas that may be or have been affected by what has been a catastrophic hurricane season.
And while travel unites us all – many times there is really no place like home. So, join us in continuing to support organizations that are helping to provide some normalcy to hurricane survivors. We will continue to update this page with more links to specific organizations before, during and after Hurricane Irma.
Thanks in advance for your generosity.
