The Dream Resort Location for a Destination Wedding
5 Reasons Why You Should Have Your Destination Wedding at The Grand at Moon Palace
by Lisa Alitz
After making the big decision to pick a wedding dress, Lisa ventured to Mexico with her fiancé Jordan to visit their wedding venue – The Grand at Moon Palace. The couple was so impressed she had to share some of the reasons why you should consider have your dream destination wedding at this fabulous resort.
1. The Service
From the moment we got picked up at the airport to the moment we left we were spoiled with amazing service. The staff at Grand at Moon Palace take that extra step to make you and your guests feel special. Upon arrival we received a cool towel, flower and beverage. And we loved those gourmet chocolates housekeeping staff left in our room every day. It was the best!
2. The Wedding Venues
At The Grand at Moon Palace, couples have quite a few options on where to have their wedding and reception. The idyllic wedding locations include: Catholic chapel, seaside gazebos, beachside terraces, indoor ballrooms and more!
The Religious Chapel
This waterfront chapel – perfect for our religious ceremony – holds 60 guests seated or 80 guests standing. In addition to this being an amazing venue for us to exchange our vows, the chapel also has air conditioning to keep everyone cool even if our nerves get the best us of our big day.
The Cusco Terrace
We chose to have our happy hour and reception on this stunning rooftop terrace. It’s perfect for our 60-100-person wedding, and it overlooks the resort’s pools and the ocean. The patterned tiles, greenery and the lights over the bar make the terrace is stunning spot to host our family and friends.
One of the perks that we really liked about this resort is that there are nine outdoor pools and two that are for adults only. The adult only pools feature a DJ on certain days and a Grey Goose Bar. How cool is that?!
4. The Food
Jordan and I were blown away by the food options here. There was a huge variety of delightful dining options. There was Asian, French, Italian, Lebanese, Steakhouse, Peruvian, Mexican and Spanish tapas restaurants. In addition, there was multiple bars and snack cantinas. Without a doubt, we’re really excited about having our wedding at the Grand at Moon Palace. It’s the right choice for us, and we recommend it to other couples planning their destination wedding in Mexico.
