Melanie makes traveling to distant places so easy. She does her research and knows all of the best places to go and the best things to do there. She is exceptionally organized and takes all the stress out of travel. I went on a yoga retreat with Melanie where we did yoga and hiking and had a plenty of beach time. She is the best yoga teacher I have ever had. An amazing trip all around!

Melanie’s expertise has been indispensable planning and adapting our travel plans over the last couple of years. She has advised me on several vacations and her knowledge of destinations coupled with what we as travelers prefer has been exceptional!

<br/>Melanie is a world traveler, detail oriented and makes traveling stress free. My husband and I had just landed in Stockholm at the beginning of the pandemic. No sooner had we landed when we discovered that our return tickets were canceled. Of course there was initial panic but Melanie, using her extensive travel knowledge, guided us through the process of finding return tickets when many countries were shutting down incoming travel. We will be using Melanie for future travel in much less stressful times.

My eight day yoga retreat to the mountains of Umbria in Italy were fabulous. Melanie is well-organized, professional, knowledgeable and is great to travel with. Any trip she organizes will be a winner!

Melanie asked what type of trip experience we wanted in Italy --see everything in 2 weeks or spend time only in Tuscany at a slower pace. We chose option 2. Next, Melanie found hotels and train itineraries that met our chosen pace. We did a food walking tour in Siena and, in Cortona, had a private driver for an all-day wine tour (6 of us) to 3 wineries. I recommend the investment in these activities since the tour guides were excellent and we did not have to figure out how to read the road signs in Italian as we whizzed past them!! Lastly, we had a problem in Milan when the driver left us stranded. I called Melanie and she fixed the mishap on the spot. A driver showed up about 45 minutes later and we were on our way again. We were so glad we had Melanie research and plan our trip to Spain. There were a lot of moving parts to our trip which encompassed 3 separate cities. We never could have envisioned all of the things that made our trip flow easily through the many transitions. It really helps to have expert advice and guidance when traveling abroad.<br/>We never would have known of all of the details that Melanie planned and booked for us. We began planning this trip four years ago, then Covid hit the world and everything was delayed, changed several times, and Melanie was our anchor who handled everything that came up. She arranged all of our pre and post extensions, in addition to the Viking River Cruise, and worked with various companies in Europe to ensure we had the best tours and experiences available. Gluten free food was needed on the planes and throughout our travels. Thanks to Melanie, there were no issues with food, travel, or tours. It was a trip of a lifetme with many wonderful memories, and I am grateful that Melanie took care of EVERYTHING in a pleasant, patient, and caring manner. <br/>

I have worked with Melanie twice, a trip to Germany last year and Spain this year. Her attention to detail and follow up is excellent. She takes a skeletal outline of what we would like to do, and turns it into the best trip ever. We decided to go on a week vacation to the Caribbean right after Christmas in mid-November. After a couple of weeks trying to locate an upscale villa or resort (that didn&#39;t cost the same as a new Cadillac) I was lucky enough to find Melanie! After taking the time to get to know us and what type of vacation we were looking for she found a perfect villa for us in St. Lucia at a reasonable cost. For those of you who have taken vacations around Christmas/New Years, you know normally you have to book several months in advance to get something you want. <br/>Melanie was a pleasure to work with in finding the location, providing options and working out the details of the trip. She was very responsive to any questions we had.<br/>I would definitely use Melanie again for finding another vacation in the future!!!

I had never used a travel agent before to make arrangements but decided to treat myself to a professional for a recent trip to Hawaii. Melanie took the time to fully understand our goals and preferences and put together an amazing package. In addition, when we had to make a significant change just 2 weeks before departure, she was on top of it ASAP even though she, herself, was out of the country. I have found Melanie to be a caring and conscientious travel agent, whether the trip was one that she led or whether it was a custom trip for me and my family. She has led me to Greece and Italy and arranged a cruise for my mom and me and a glorious trip to Iceland for my daughter and me.

We had a fabulous trip! It far exceeded our expectations and we owe so much to Melanie and her guidance. The decisions we made prior to leaving, again with Melanie's expert knowledge and attention to detail, contributed to our seamless travel. We upgraded to business class that came with some added perks which we enjoyed. We also have TSA Pre and Global entry which expedited TSA and customs. Our cabin selection aboard the Viking Cities of Light was perfect. Again, we decided to upgrade and were very pleased with our decision. We enjoyed the complementary laundry service and daily replenishment of wine in our refrigerator which came with the upgrade. Melanie described every type of cabin available so we were able to make the best decision for us! Once onboard, everything from the staff who treated us like royalty to the absolutely delicious meals, the daily information talks, the daily happy hours, music and sometimes dancing in the evening were lively and fun! The daily included and optional excursions and the guides were exceptional! Some of our special memories will be meeting so many wonderful people from all over the U.S. and Canada. We ended our trip with four nights in Paris. We found Paris to be crowded, a bit quirky but unique with a very charming vibe. Paris at night becomes magical and you literally fall in love with the city! We enjoyed an open air private tour at night which was special! So much to see and do. A return to Paris is a must for sure! We felt very prepared for our trip. Melanie's knowledge and thoughtful instructions were so appreciated! She is the best and we can't wait to work with her again! Thank you, Melanie!

Melanie planned our complicated trip down to the last detail, saving me hours of stress and providing the family with an online site with all of our tickets, travel directions, sight seeing and dining recommendations. We could all relax and enjoy the time together, without one person needing to be the planner and manager.

Great experience. The trip couldn’t have gone more smoothly. We were picked up at the Cancun airport and taken to the resort. The resort was phenomenal and with Melanie’s advice, we were prepared and made lifetime memories with my grown kiddos and their partners. Can’t wait to return.

Thailand is the third trip Melanie has planned for me (also my first international solo) and it was fantastic! I wanted to efficiently use and maximize my time there. This involved staying in 7 hotels and flying through 7 different airports. Melanie booked and coordinated all of my lodging, flights, transfers, as well as some of my excursions. She provided a customized itinerary after listening to my “wants” in this trip. In recents years, she has gotten to know my preferences as well. It was a pleasure working with Melanie again and an incredible experience in Thailand!!

With the exception of one tour guide, the guides were outstanding. Was quite pleased with the pace of the trip and in spite of a lot of moving parts, everything came together very well. Shout out to Melanie Psaltakis for all of her work and patience in planning this trip.

Melanie made sure we had experinced tour guides who gave us a detailed download and a good history of all the monuments and art galleries we visited in Italy. Melanie offered good suggestions. The lines to these places in Italy were not long since she picked early hours and the group was very small. The guides were very impressive with in depth knowledge else we would have looked at things and walked aways. She gave us a lot of attention and time to explain things. I left her in the able hands of my husband and they both planned most of the tours. She told us where to pick hotels and based on the place you will have to tweak though your desire might be to stay in the wild. The golf cart tour was the highlight in Rome, we loved it. What an experience. It was super cold and Melanie could not control the weather unfortunately :). On the whole I recommend one to use her services . At times we think we are able to manage travel on our own through research but it might lead to disappointm

I did two trips with her this summer one with my four grandchildren to Quebec city and another to Portugal with a friend. She filled every day that I requested with an adventure. The kids were never bored can&#39;t believe how thorough she was, and I plan to travel with her Again

I could not have planned my trip without Melanie&#39;s extensive help - her first hand knowledge of Italy was critical to helping guide me on planning where to stay, which cities to visit and which tour companies and tours best met our goals.

It was a delight to work with Melanie. She was very responsive, and alerted us if she was going to be away and that her response time might be longer than usual. I have reaped the advantages of travel itineraries designed by Melanie two times: the first a fabulous yoga retreat to the Umbria region of Italy, which I took with my husband, the second a meticulously planned trip to New Zealand, which I did solo. Both trips exceeded my expectations. Melanie is detail-oriented and was extremely knowledgeable about both destinations. The yoga retreat was a wonderful combination of yoga sessions, meditations, and sightseeing. Everything promised was delivered. The three-week trip that I took alone might have been a little intimidating, but Melanie managed all the travel connections perfectly, so I didn’t have to worry about a thing. The breathtaking hikes were in gorgeous scenery , the kayaking was spectacular, and I even fit in a morning of hang-gliding with an experienced tandem hang-gliding instructor she personally recommended. Melanie is an experienced traveler, and she works diligently to make sure you get the adventure you want and more.

Melanie was amazing at ever step of the process. From her flexibility accommodating changes in our travel, to helping us find and book the best tours on short notice, we look forward to working with her again on our next trip!

Melanie knows her stuff! This trip was incredibly well-planned, down to the tiniest detail.
