Bay Shore, NY Travel Agent
Wide Horizons Travel LLC
I credit my parents' gift of a National Geographic subscription for my travel passion. Inside those pages were far-off lands; children and families living so many different experiences. I wanted to see it all; I wanted to understand their lives.
As a child, and later as a parent, my family welcomed many international exchange students and professionals into our home. When I was in high school, my father created a trip through Europe to visit every single person that had visited us; it took three weeks to see them all! Later, I was the director of a national exchange student organization, and our extended family grew even more. i have exchange 'sons' and 'daughters' across the globe, and I'm the American grandmother to eleven international 'grandchildren'.
The tag line of Wide Horizons Travel LLC is "Travel for discovery, within and beyond". Whether you are planning a multi-generational family adventure, seeking to connect with your own genealogical roots, or experiencing a bucket list dream, my hope is that you discover more about yourself, as well as the destination you have chosen to visit.
Ask me about cruises, tours, and independent travel. Tell me what that vacation might look, feel, and even taste like to you and your traveling companions. Mountains? Beaches? Exotic lands? National Parks? Let's find that sweet spot for you.
Some people ask why travel agents are relevant in the age of the internet. I'll tell you why. Before you and I finalize your reservations, we will have explored the possibilities and best prices so you have the vacation experience you really want. I'm available for questions, itinerary tweaks, choosing special activities or celebrations, and gentle reminders not to overpack. We become partners in your life adventure.
It has been my privilege to work with families, couples, and groups to create their unique travel experience. I look forward to working with you.
