One of the reasons I became a travel advisor is that I am intrigued by different cultures, and I love helping others travel to gain new experiences. My passion for travel includes learning about the history of new destinations so that I can better understand and appreciate the people, the landmark sights, and the culture.
I especially enjoy sharing my travel experiences with first-time cruisers, and I consider myself someone who knows about the unique attributes of the various Caribbean islands. There is so much to experience and discover on each island, from unique food and activities to holiday celebrations and special events.
Because I have traveled on all the major cruise lines, and visited many of the Caribbean islands, I feel I am well-qualified to provide honest feedback. I always try to paint a "real" picture of what it's like to travel, whether my clients opt for a multi-island tour, an all-inclusive cruise, or an extended stay at a luxury resort. There are always new things to discover, even if a person has been to a single island many times!
Travel has, of course, become increasingly complicated, and I work hard to take the uncertainties out of traveling. In addition to sharing my personal experiences, I get to know my clients in advance, and try to customize each trip I plan based on their individual preferences. My goal is to always offer dependable advice and provide exceptional service.
I am also always available to help clients deal with travel delays, destination issues and weather-related concerns that might require itinerary changes or rescheduling.
When I'm not traveling to distant destinations myself, I thoroughly enjoy exploring new places closer to home with my family and friends when I'm not traveling to distant destinations. I volunteer with animal-related charities, and participate regularly in charity walks and 5K runs for a variety of causes. I also admit that I love shopping!

Cruising on Regal Princess!
We became clients of Amy's 5 years ago. She is always willing to help and takes as many insane questions (and I have lots) as I can email her! We are experienced cruises and know most everything, but Amy takes the time to go over everything step by step, and never makes us feel bad about going over it again! She works with are schedules and sometime stays late to accommodate us! We left a previous Travel Agent as the agent was never around and always too busy or just did not want to help us, but since being with Amy that all changed! Last minute gem.
Amy did a great job planning our trip on short notice. My wife and I knew we wanted to go to the Grand canyon after helping to move out daughter and <br/>son-in-law to Texas. Amy made some recommendations and they worked out so well. She hooked us up with a scenic train ride from DelRio Texas to Maricopa Arizona. On top of thar a package that included a train ride to and from inside the national park at the Grand canyon.

Perfect Honeymoon!
Amy was the perfect agent for us. We were referred by close friends who had their honeymoon managed by her and we hoped to do the same. We had already cancelled our honeymoon multiple times due to COVID, so we really wanted to get this trip together smoothly in 2022.<br/>Not only did Amy put everything together for us, but she got the process started FAST. Within our first emails she was providing us with options, packages, and dates to match our budget. Before reaching out to her, it had taken us months to put together our old trip details - with Amy's help we basically had our honeymoon fully booked and ready to go within a few weeks. Cruising is Our Happy Place
I worked with Amy for over 6 years now. She has gone above and beyond for myself and my husband. Answering my same dumb questions every day, and never complaining. We usually cruises (but not in the last 2 years), this year on her recommendation we took an all-inclusive to Punta Cana. It was fabulous! Amy helped with all facets of our vacation from booking of the ship to getting us the most convenient air flights possible. A dream vacation!
We've wanted to do a river cruise for several years, and finally decided this was our year. Amy gave us several options and helped us pick the one that was right for us. First Time Cruisers!
For my husband’s 40th birthday we wanted to go on a trip. We had never been on a cruise before so that’s what we decided to do. We had no idea where to start, when a friend recommended talking to Amy I sent her a message right away. She was great at finding us options to fit the time frame for travel I gave her, with taking our budget into consideration as well.
She was accessible by phone or email which made it easy for us to get in contact with her when it was convenient for us.
She made sure everything we needed was covered/included and answered any questions we had, without making me feel like I was a bother, since I had no idea what I was doing!
She also provided us with information about updating my passport, as it was expired and still had my maiden name.
We loved the cruise she suggested. It was honestly the most stress free vacation I have ever planned/booked/experienced. We will most definitely be working with Amy again for future adventures/vacations!

Great experiences and she prepared us well for the first trip we’ve taken. Amy was very thorough, patient with our newbie questions, and made herself available as we thought of new questions to ask. She was detailed in her responses at every stage and I really appreciate that. Maybe would have liked to understand the Mexico airport a little bit better- (from the perspective of a first time traveler…) we were aware of time share people but not people claiming to be workers of the Mexican government ensuring we were getting the best of our trip… spent over half an hour stuck at the airport for this. Also our return to the airport was very different than the trip to the resort. We had direct/shared. It was a nice large van labeled with Amstar and amstar shirt/nametag. On the return to the airport our transportation was 30 minutes late, and it was a large bus with a driver in a different uniform, nothing said amstar, and the bus was very full from other resort pick up’s. The news you never want to hear.
On our recent cruise we received news that a family member unexpectedly passed away. I contacted Amy and in a short period of time had us booked on a flight home from our next port. Amy was a saint throughout the planning/booking of our trip. We had a really hard time narrowing down where we wanted to go and she was extremely patient. Amy provided a wide variety of options and never made us feel rushed to make a decision. We valued her opinions and experiences to help us narrow down what would work best for us and our budget. Amy was always friendly, willing to provide more information/options, and give us the space we needed to make our decisions. While she had every right to be frustrated with us, we never got that impression from her. <br/>Amy got all of the initial reservations made and provided us clear expectations for payment deadlines etc. We received the documents we needed to feel prepared to go on our trip as well as contact information in case anything arose. Amazing Trip during COVID pandemic!
Amy Stambaugh booked myself and 3 others to go to Sandals Montego Bay in Jamaica 4/8-4/12/21. She was there EVERY STEP OF THE WAY helping us with our paperwork that we needed, ensuring we were good to go with the everchanging covid requirements. Amy went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we felt “okay” about going on our trip and that our minds were at ease that she would handle any obstacle that we encountered (which was so important because of the covid world we are living in now).
