My name is Christian Poulin, and I am a travel agent. This might sound like a simple statement, but I think it actually entails more than a job description. I’ve always loved travelling, whether it was for a 32 hour drive to Florida with my parents, a week of relaxation in Europe or even a simple weekend getaway. I find that every time you leave home, there is always something out of the ordinary to be done; you only have to have an open mind and be a little bit adventurous.

Everywhere I go, I strive to make my trip a little bit more special – giving it that little extra, making others want to experience it, too. I'm willing to try it all! Climbing Mount Fuji, living in yurt in Mongolia, trek across a glacier in Iceland or dancing salsa to a live band in Mexico.

And that’s exactly what I strive to give when someone comes to see me to travel. I want to give you that something that make your trip extraordinary – that makes others want to do the same and experience what you have.

I also firmly believe in walking the talk. I have been on tours with complete strangers in Costa Rica and Kenya, forging new friendships that still hold fast, after several years. I’ve also hiked to the Everest Base Camp with family and friends, discovering things I never knew about them, and growing closer to a cousin I didn’t see all that often before.
Group travel is amazing. I have seen people share support to fellow travellers in a time of need, children learning a totally different language to express their amazement, and hikers getting courage from fellow travelers to push beyond their limits… like crossing rope bridges.
