Hitching around Ireland and Northern Ireland with a friend in the 90's was a once in a lifetime experience that allowed me to fall in love with this country's landscapes, history and its friendly people. I couldn't just visit once and repeated visits almost yearly help me discover more and more hidden gems and off the beaten path experiences which I use to help guide my clients wanting to have their own Ireland adventure.
Northern Ireland has always showcased its outstanding natural beauty along its coastline. Since the filming of Game of Thrones here clients want to see these filming locations for themselves. Belfast is now a vibrant city with so much to offer the visitor like the Titanic Experience and the Political Murals Tour. Many clients wish to explore Ireland's coastal beauty along the Wild Atlantic Way which includes the very beautiful Ring of Kerry and Slea Head drives. Dublin and Galway are two vibrant Irish cities that offer the traveller great history, food, pubs and traditional music.
In the past I have created a multigenerational family trip to Ireland that included ancestry stops, incredible scenery, traditional music and some very unique food and cooking experiences. A self drive itinerary for a young newly married couple that wanted to see the natural beauty of the incredible Wild Atlantic Way as well as stay in some unique accommodations along the way including a night in a castle and glamping on an Irish farm. A mother daughter driver guided trip to discover important ancestry sites, to have local hands on experiences like visiting a sheep farm, baking bread in the home of a local lady in the Galway countryside and making Irish stew in the home of a Dubliner.

Life changing Trip
Tammie was professional and was so organized. I must say I was skeptical of booking with someone I didn’t meet with. However, She had things so organized and was quick to retrieve answers to anything I asked. It was a big trip for us so our anxieties were a bit higher than usual but Tammie quickly had us at ease. Fabulous 2-Week Adventure!
Our goal was to enjoy 2 weeks of exploring castles, whisky, and the beauty of Scotland. Tammie did not disappoint us. A very enjoyable family trip.
After the initial conversation with Tammie, she provided us a very detailed survey to get to know what kind of a trip we were looking for. Once we sent back the survey, Tammie provided us with a first glimpse of an itinerary, and from that point we were able to tweak to our final journey. During the time of getting to the final draft, Tammie's knowledge of Ireland and suggestions of sites to see was helpful in making our decision. Amazing trip to Scotland
We had an amazing trip with Tammie’s help. Tammie shared her knowledge of Scotland and made great recommendations with respect to activities, accommodations, tours and places to visit. She was attentive and responsive.
Tammie connected us with an ancestory guide who researched family history and then took us on a personal tour of relevant spots highlighting the history.
Tammie also suggested visiting the Isle of Lewis and Harris - the sights and history were unbelievably beautiful especially if you like remote and nature. And we got to stay in a castle on the island.

You Should not Travel to Scotland without Tammie!
Tammie was amazing. In short, we gave her some key areas we wanted to explore in Glasgow, Mull, Oban, Skye and Edinburgh. At that point she came back with a huge and very comprehensive draft schedule that fit in all that we wanted and many things we did not know about that were on the journey. She arranged for tours in Glasgow and Scotland and when we realized a driver was required for the Highlands (don't try to do it on your own) to get to all these spots, ferry bookings and hotels, she did a great job. Gave us some perfect locations in the major cities where walking to everything was fantastic and not a burden. We cannot wait to go back to explore more of Scotland and use her deep knowledge all that is tourism in Scotland. She was also so pleasant to work with, very responsive and just a kind human being. So happy we found her!

Amazing Service!
Tammie impressed us from the start with her insights and knowledge. I heard about Tammie from a good friend who had just come back from a wonderful trip to Ireland. I was recovering from health issues at the time, and my friend suggested that I call Tammie because she would see to everything for this trip. She was so right. Tammie put me at my ease from the first phone call, when I felt a little silly about how unclear I was about what I wanted from my trip. She was so helpful in sorting it all out and asking the right questions to create a trip proposal that was exactly what we were looking for. She organized airport transfers and great accommodations in London. We were close to everything. We loved our tour to the West Country in England. Our tour guide, Julia, was brilliant and always mindful of each of us on the tour. Wonderful scenery and experiences!

A dream come true!
This trip was one that had been in the making for years, thinking talking and hoping one day we as a family could go. While looking at tours my sister and brother in law came upon Tammie who specializes in Scotland vacations. We contacted her and it was the best thing we could have done! Tammie is so personable, knowledgeable and very keen to get exactly what you , her client wants. She was easy to work with , easy to contact for questions and very quick to return calls.We made a list of places that were non negotiable and also places we would all like to see if possible. She managed to squeeze everything in and do it within the given budget. We had a private driver who was fantastic! He goes above and beyond, is knowledgeable about the areas toured . I would highly recommend Neil and taking a custom tour.We started our trip In Glasgow and took a tour with a company called Scotland’s Wild and it was truly amazing! Our driver was James who was so full of historical information, entertaining, and even had music to set the scenes of our locations while driving. The day was Rainey and overcast but it only enhanced the beauty of the highlands with shades of greens and cloudy mists. next day met our driver Neil to continue onto Paisley to see where our ancestors had lived.Our trip consisted of twelve days of unforgettable tours to Castles , whisky distilleries, making a Scottish traditional dinner with a local woman , one of my favorites which I so highly recommend was dinner and lodging at theDownright Gabbler an experience not to be missed. We visited a working farm, had lunch in a beautiful historic manor and felted with a local artisan while the guys did archery. Tammie created such a wonderful itinerary for us , she booked and selected our hotels, train transportation, tours, etc.! It takes a lot of pressure off especially never having been to Scotland before and allowed us to just enjoy the trip to the fullest.

Would have been lost on the WHW without Tammie!
We always wanted to walk the West Highland Way, and we had the guidebooks and maps – but Tammie’s expertise and guidance made the trip possible. Because she knew the route first-hand, she was able to recommend how much we could confidently walk in a day, what parts were the most challenging, and most importantly - where to stop and stay. Many stops were in remote locations, and she helped us find the right inns and B&Bs to stay at. <br/><br/>We would have been very literally lost without Tammie!<br/><br/>The hike was amazing and with her help we booked a car for a self-drive to explore the rest of the country. Great 4 day private tour of Scotch Distilleries

Working with Tammie was so relaxing, she listened to our requests and with her knowledge of Scotland made suggestions we might like to consider. There was no fitting us into a box like most tour companies do...this was actually going to be "our trip". Partnered with our guide in Scotland the plans were put into place for a fun and relaxing trip. I've never enjoyed or been so relaxed while on vacation. Hamilton Family trip of a lifetime.
Tammie was a godsend to myself, my husband and the siblings that went on the trip. She was so kind and patience and very knowlegeable. Listening to what we wanted to do and see and making suggestions.<br/>As my one sister is in a wheelchair she worked with a partner who lives in Scotland and was able to book our hotels and make sure we had an accessible room for my sister. He also purchased the Tattoo tickets for us. She researched the accessiblity of the castle, etc., that we hoped to visit.<br/>She booked our airline tickets for us and kept in contact throughout the pandemic and used our vouchers to arrange new airline tickets the covid no travel ban was lifted. She was always willing to answer our numerous questions and put us at ease.<br/>I would highly recommend Tammie and also her partner Neil and actually have already done so. Should we be in a position to book another trip Tammie will be my first call.<br/>

Fabulous Trip to Scotland and Northern Ireland!
We can't say enough about how amazing Tammie is! We have done a fair bit of travel, and this turned out to be one of our best trips ever.<br/><br/>When we first connected, Tammie asked a lot of questions in order to understand our likes and dislikes, then she translated that into a fantastic trip, within our budget, that we would never have been able to design on our own. Tammie did all the bookings for our three-week adventure - flights, accommodations, trains, buses, and excursions. She provided a back-up plan for a small part of the trip, just in case bad weather disrupted travel to one of the islands. Our amazing trip to Scotland!
Tammie was great to work with- with many thoughts and ideas based on our limited knowledge of Scotland and the time we had available to tour around, we emailed back and forth to better identify our likes and preferences for a trip. We had a an extremely short timeline to plan our trip and Tammie suggested some wonderful locations that we never would have discovered on our own. Travel brochures all offered the same generic sites, Tammie created an amazing itinerary perfectly tailored for us with the level of travel and activity we were hoping for. We had a fabulous time and plan to travel with her assistance another time. Our trip was worry free, and every little detail was well thought out for us, including many once in a lifetime experiences. Our Dream is Coming True!!
Tammie has been a god send to me and our family. We have had a dream for a number of year to do a siblings trip to Scotland. Both for heritage and sightseeing prposes. One of my siblings has MS and is wheelchair bond. She can do most things for herself at her own pace. We thought that if we could hire a private van and driver in Scotland it would work better for her and we could customize our tour to what we want to see and do.<br/>Tammie has made this happen but we have not had the experience yet because the pandemic halted world travel. We really had no worries moving our trip forward to 2022 as Tammie assisted us with the requirements to do that. She has been so professional, friendly and accommodating. She also made some great suggestions of places we might like to visit. We felt that she was treating us as she would her own family.<br/>She has kept us informed of any and all changes affecting our trip through covid-19 and we continue to feel we are in good hands.

Great Family Vacation
Tammie did a great job planning a trip to Scotland for myself and twelve of my family members. Everything was planned beautifully so that we did not have to worry about anything, every day a new adventure. We traveled from Glasgow up to the Isle of Skye and over to Edinburgh and back to Glasgow for our flight home. We suggested to places we wanted to visit and Tammie was able to put together an itinerary that satisfied everyone in our group that ranged in age from 20 up to 70 years. She is very personable and willing to make adjustments, answering numerous questions, all to make for a carefree and unforgettable trip for us all.

The Trip of a Lifetime!
Working with Tammie was the best decision I could have made when planning my trip to the UK. She went absolutely above and beyond when it came to understanding who I was, and suggesting sights and attractions that would interest me. All my transportation, accommodations, day trips, train tickets, ferry tickets….everything was booked and taken care of by Tammie. Because of her, I felt confident in travelling during Covid, as she had done all the research required for me having up to date documents and tests. She pulled my entire 1 month trip together mere weeks before I was set to fly (I reached out to her quite late, realizing that I was going to need a lot of help in order to get the trip organized) and there is no way I could have had such a life changing and magnificent trip without her. I have been to Scotland many times. This time was the best. Tammie put together an awesome tour. I went and saw so many places that I've never seen before. I even got to sleep in a castle!
