My first trip to Ireland was to take my husband to see Bruce Springsteen in Dublin. I fell in love with the country and people. I knew then that I wanted to share this wonderful country with others.

Since that time I have been back to Ireland many times. I have had the experience of traveling to the Republic and Northern Ireland both as an individual and as a group leader.

I have earned the title of Ireland Destination Specialist from The Travel Institute and have earned Gold Specialist Certification from Tourism Ireland.

There are a number of reputable suppliers I work with both in the USA and in Ireland. I have made some close contacts in Ireland over the years that I would love to share with you.

I generally go to Ireland once or twice a year so I can keep on top of hotels and attractions that are offered.

My best trip to Ireland was with my daughter’s family. The grandchildren were 6 and 9 when we took them for their first visit. From the private hawk walk and getting to hold the bird on our gloves, to climbing rocks on the Burren, to our castle stay... it was a holiday we will all hold dear to our hearts. The kids still say it’s the best vacation ever!

I not only gained a travel agent, she is now a dear friend.

She helped me with my first big trip to New York. After she finalized my trip all I had to do was pack jump on a plane and enjoy. Not only do I go to her with all of my travel needs but we now stay in touch and I consider her a dear friend. I couldn't recommend any one else to take care of my travel needs. She does such a wonderful job!!

Incredible Fun

We asked Kathy to plan a surprise family vacation to celebrate our daughter's 30th birthday. She had to arrange six travelers flying from two different states. We wanted to arrive around the same time to our final destination. She arranged all the flights and an all-inclusive resort with three rooms. We had a fabulous time and our daughter didn't know where she was going until we revealed the destination to her.

She saved the trip

Kathy Harrigan of Harrigan Holidays saved my first vacation to Ireland, which was my first trip abroad. She went above and beyond the call of duty to fix what another agency messed up. I was so impressed with her knowledge, insight,and caring that I used her for our second trip also. I don't feel that I could get any better service anywhere else. 25th anniversary trip

Kathy was knowledgable, warm and friendly and available for any questions we had. Even while we were abroad, she was quick to respond and put our minds at ease with any issues. It was my wife's dream trip to visit Scotland and Ireland and thanks to Kathy, it was a trip we will always remember. Girls Family Fun

My two sisters and my 92 year old mother and I took an ACL (American Cruise Line) river round trip cruise from New Orleans. It was about 7 days and really so much fun. Kathy Harrigan took care of our flight arrangements, transportation to and from the ship and of course, our cruise details. All we had to do was choose our excursions and pack! Kathy was thorough, available always for questions and concerns, friendly and helpful with suggestions. It was a perfect trip and was without worry as we knew Kathy had handled it prior to our departure. I would recommend using Kathy for any of your future trips without hesitation.

A wonderful honeymoon trip!

Kathy took the time to get a sense of the experience we were looking to have. She put together a fantastic itinerary and gave very helpful recommendations for interesting experiences along the way, even including places to stop between towns. Kathy obviously knows Ireland very well and her experience was so helpful to us. Kathy kept us updated as the trip was being planned and sought our input on various options. The trip was absolutely fabulous! Everything went smoothly and we will never forget our Ireland adventure. I hope to have Kathy plan another trip, as there is so much more to see and do. I will definitely recommend her to anyone planning a trip to Ireland.

A Dream come True - Ireland Honeymoon!

Kathy was the perfect answer to our many questions as we sought to plan a honeymoon in Ireland. She was exceptionally thorough in thinking through every single detail, from car insurance to lodging to the best walking tours in southern Ireland. Kathy made sure we had fun while finalizing our trip. And her expertise on the country was golden! We stayed at five different cities in southern Ireland - the accommodations and locations she set at the perfect pace, weaving in our interests of countryside, church history, and city life. There were no hiccups in any of our travel arrangements, thanks to Kathy's excellent work! What a memorable trip this was and only because we were able to fully trust Kathy to design a trip that fit us so well. Also, we were simply blessed by her sincere heart and trustworthiness shown when working with her. We wholeheartedly recommend Kathy for future trips!

Amazing Trip!

The best trip!

Verry knowledgable, kind, and helpful.

We were looking for a week-long Caribbean vacation within our budget, and she was able to help us along every step of the way! Ireland Adventure

My three sisters and I finally made the decision to visit Ireland. After speaking with a few other agents , I found Kathy... She was able to arrange a magical trip for us... From our airline flights to hotels and rental cars, all fell smoothly into place.. I can never thank her enough for all of the work she did for us. We wanted to set up a self driving trip and Kathy rose to the occasion and arranged all of our accommodations. My sisters and I would definitely use Kathy's services again. An Excellent Scandinavian Adventure

Kathy assured our trip to Oslo and Copenhagen was especially memorable, owing in great part to her advice, planning, and arrangements. She helped make preparing for the trip fun, providing wonderful options for air travel, lodging, and tours. Her coordination was flawless and final arrangements were made and in-hand in a timely manner. She made the trip worry-free. Accommodations in Oslo and Copenhagen were centrally located, comfortable, and with fantastic Scandinavian breakfasts. The sightseeing tours were perfect and gave us access to all the major sights and attractions. Air travel was excellent and Kathy's colorful luggage tags made baggage claim a breeze! I have wonderful, lasting memories of this trip to Scandinavia thanks in no small part to Kathy. I recommend her services without any reservation.

Great time in Northern Ireland

Our Northern Ireland trip went off perfectly. Harrigan Holidays does a really good job of booking hotels and planning interesting tours. Kathy went out of her way to assist 6 of us to arrive a few days early and go out on our own. She helped us make car rental and hotel arrangements. We would definitely recommend her agency to friends. We have also taken a bus trip to NYC which was well planned.

She handled everything for us so we could simply enjoy our vacation!

When I first decided to take a girls weekend in NYC, I did not know where to start. Luckily, a travel website referred me to Kathy Harrigan. She was so professional, so helpful, that not only the trip, but the planning was a breeze. I will definitely use Karthy again and I will refer her to all of my friends!

She clued in the clueless

My sisters and I have wanted to go to Ireland for a long time. When we finally decided it was now or never, we didn't have a clue how to start. We all looked at packages, flights, hotels etc. The more we planned the more confusing it became until my sister Nancy found Kathy. She arranged everything and found us great deals. Her advice was on the money. It was the best vacation I ever had and I would use Kathy again in a heartbeat.

Planned the perfect trip!

Kathy took the ideas we had for our Hawaii vacation and found the best value and experiences for an experience that will last a lifetime. She constantly watched our flights to make sure seeing was optimal for our family and found resorts that the children raved about. We will be using her again for all of our family vacations!

Ireland is amazing with Kathy Harrigan!

We loved our trip to Ireland so much we went back! Both times with Harrigan Holidays! Kathy knows every inch of the country. The hotels were excellent! We saw saw many gorgeous places, and had so much fun! (Craic they call it in Ireland!) She has so many travel connections with people there, it seems everybody knows her! Her attention to detail and knowledge of the places we visited made the trip a relaxing, easy venture. Don't pass up a trip to the Emerald Isle with Harrigan Holidays!

Especially useful if you're planning a custom trip

So many tour operators go to the same places and do the same things. Kathy's specialty is putting together a custom itinerary that can focus on niche interests or targeted types of sites, and especially interesting stops that aren't always part of "mainstream" tours. She's particularly versed on Ireland, which is where I took two different groups -- once on a northern loop and once on a southern loop. Both of those went smoothly with a nice mix of attractions and an excellent tour manager.

One of our best trips EVER!

We were a group of 10, coming from 5 different places, arriving at 3 different times in Dublin for the Boston College vs. Georgia Tech game. Kathy made it all work flawlessly. Five of us spent a week touring the beautiful Irish countryside, with a wonderful driver named John that "got us" and made the first few days stress-free and oh so memorable. Then Kathy arranged for us to meet up with 5 other family members in Dublin for the rest of our stay. From the hotels she chose to arranging game tickets to all the various means of transport for 10 days, it all went off without a single hitch. Everyone got what they wanted, whether it was seeing a specific sight, eating wonderful meals, or getting an authentic taste of Ireland and the warm and wonderful Irish people. We have been fortunate enough to travel quite a bit, and usually I research and plan everything myself but Kathy made it all so easy and was right on the money! She even got us much better fares than we could get ourselves out of Atlanta! I truly could not have done it myself. She was always prompt with her answers to my (very many) questions, and all 10 of us appreciate the planning and attention to detail that Kathy put into our trip. It's a memory all 10 of us will cherish a lifetime!

Exceptional travel agent

We have used Kathy Harrigan's service to plan our winter vacations to Mexico and Punta Cana for approximately 8 years. Her knowledge and customer service are the best. She researches and helps us find the best resorts and will offer her opinion on whether the resort would meet our needs. We have recommended her services to many friends and co-workers and everyone has the same comment, "Kathy is an exceptional travel agent!"
