I miss traveling by train, where my earliest memories unfold between Philadelphia and Southeast West Virginia. One of my most cherished moments was when my family slept in a Pullman car, with my sister and I changing into pajamas before the train departed. Travel has always been my gateway to enriching cultural experiences. Riding in a horse-drawn carriage in Philadelphia, attending the first Tom Joyner Family Reunion at Disney, and sailing on the Tom Joyner Cruise. These adventures infused my life with joy and discovery. I consider myself a breast cancer scientist. I approach travel as a problem solver, using insights to help fellow travelers realize their dreams and enrich their journeys.
Assisting others with their travel adventures brings a unique joy to my heart. I hold dear my family's mantra, "work hard and play harder." Family vacations embody this philosophy, creating lasting memories that bring smiles and strengthen family bonds. For my 50th birthday, I organized a celebration, taking charge of travel arrangements for my relatives in the Northeast. Now living in Nashville, TN, I was proud to offer a historical tour during the celebration, receiving commendations for my narrations. This experience inspired me to embark on starting my own travel company. As an engaged community member, I recognize the need for caregivers to find a sanctuary for rejuvenation. My vision is to create this sanctuary through group travel, fostering a holistic lifestyle together from raw food preparation seminars to delightful family and friend cruises, complete with private parties and exclusive perks. While I appreciate value-filled, inexpensive trips, I believe service, comfort, and unique experiences elevate the journey. I embrace my role as a travel educator, inspired by the potential for growth in every one's travel experiences. We are all eternal students of life, always exploring and learning together.
