I’m here to help you experience the magic of Yunnan Province, China in a way that’s deeply meaningful, adventurous, and rooted in sustainability. For over a decade, I’ve lived in and out of the foothills of the Himalayas along the Ancient Tea Horse Trail of the Silk Road, raising my family and immersing myself in the vibrant cultures, breathtaking landscapes, and hidden communities that make this region extraordinary.

As a native English speaker with years of firsthand experience on the ground, I offer more than just safe and seamless travel. I open doors to authentic experiences that come from deep relationships built over countless shared meals, cups of tea, and genuine connections with locals.

My Journey

My path to Yunnan started with a deep personal calling. As a decorated U.S. Army combat veteran, I’ve seen the brutal cost of conflict and the profound need for understanding between cultures. After serving multiple tours in Iraq, I realized my life’s greatest contribution would be to build opportunities for my children — and for others — to experience peace, connection, and appreciation for cultures they might never encounter otherwise.

Travel, for me, is not just about going somewhere new; it’s about fostering intercultural understanding and building bridges that bring people closer together. Living and working in Yunnan has allowed me to pursue this mission in a place where I’ve formed lifelong relationships with local families, village elders, and communities who inspire me every day.
