What can I say about our Turkey trip designed By June to Visit Turkey Istanbul and Cappadocia other than it was amazing. Our tour guide Ayse was exceptional. I had a medical problem on the trip - got on the plane in New York walking - got off the plane in Istanbul unable to walk. Through Aysha's caring, June and Aysha arranged for a doctor to see me at the hotel, welcomed me on the parts of the tour I could do and was very honest in telling me which parts of the tour would have been impossible for me to do on the walker and eventually in a wheelchair for the last five days of the trip. She was always helpful, never made me feel like I was an imposition/bother. It is because of her that we can still say we had a marvelous time. She is very smart and friendly. She is knowledgeable. June was easy to schedule a call with and was responsive to our preferences in planning our itinerary. . We spent three nights in Porto and three in Lisbon. Our agent arranged transfers from the airports to our hotels, a three-hour food and wine tour in Porto, a full-day guided drive to the Douro Valley, a guided car drive from Porto to Lisbon (stopping in two locations), and a full-day guided trip to Sintra. We also scheduled a couple of free days for us to enjoy both cities. The guides were all excellent. Our agent provided a wireless hotspot for us for the entire trip. We used this the whole time, which saved us from having to use an international cell plan. It did help to have a battery pack with us as it needed recharging halfway through the day. We really enjoyed the day in the Douro River Valley, visiting vineyards and the beautiful scenery. Bussaco and Obidos were both fun to visit. We booked a trip to Croatia and a final destination in Budapest with June The beginning of the trip was on the coast through Dubrovnik, Hvar, and Split. The trip along the coast was excellent as expected. The accommodations were wonderful, the people welcoming, and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and patient with all our questions. However, the drive included a stop at Plitvice Lakes National Park which was beautiful and, upon arriving in Zagreb, we were pleasantly surprised with the city tour that June arranged and also the day trip in the area outside the city including historical sites (Tito's birthplace), wineries, and mountainside restaurants. The trip to Budapest included and stop as a couple wineries overlooking Lake Balaton. The trip concluded with a wonderful sunset cruise on the Danube watching the city becoming bathed in lights.
