This was our first cruise and booked two cabins as we were taking my 82 year old father-in-law so we had separate reservation numbers. Had a wonderful cruise with AmaDara and crew. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience on the Mekong. Everything was beautifully arranged & went off with minimal changes. Wonderful food & entertainment with live piano music in the evenings. I was impressed that most of the staff were aware of my food allergy by breakfas. The Food Director reviewed the menu & discussed it with me before every meal; well done! Thanks again for the cabin upgrade. Great choice to use Sofitel pre- & post-cruise. NEGATIVES: No Lift; this was not made clear prior to booking. I had an aching back the whole trip from climbing stairs multiple times per day & had to take pain medication every day. There were 5 or 6 of us with the same problem. We were all surprised when we stepped on board & there was no lift.

Avoya travel took immediate action when I called your representative about a possible trip to the South Pacific on Oceania. The category of cabin was already booked up, but we were given what we asked for by sail away time. We arranged for the transfer from airport to ship some 70 miles away in Valpraiso, and it was immediately provided. Our airline seats were pre arranged and were excellent! That was a first, and very welcome not to do our own bookings.
