You receive personal attention that you would never receive on a large ship as the space is limited based on the ship you are taking! Rooms on a river ship are generally larger than a larger commercialized ship, the amount of rooms may even be as little as 14!
River cruising is a different experience than ocean cruising. The major difference is that since you are on a river, sea sickness is out!
Experiences are exceptional since river cruise ships are able to get up and close to the port you are visiting. Also you are immersed in the local culture on and off the ship.
