Norway but all the trips were fantastic!
Kay has been a joy to work with, for over 10 years she has been an excellent agent always providing us with the best travel service. She is knowledgeable, competent and works to make each travel experience wonderful and unique.. She researched and planned a custom tour throughout Ireland for my 96 year father and when we had to cancel she was understanding. I have been to Canada, Alaska, Norway, Germany and the Mediterranean and look forward to more trips planned by Kay.

Delayed by Covid
Kay is exceptionally wonderful and easy to work with when planning, making changes or in need of recommendations for travel experiences. We initially planned this trip for summer 2020 but Covid cancelled that. Kay remained in touch with clear communication and handled all of the changes expertly. We have thrown alterations to the plans at her right and left and she has accommodated all of them so very pleasantly. Her experience and expertise allows for worry free and wonderful travel!

Wonderful vacation to Paris and Normandy Coast

Most excellent London adventure!
We have the pleasure of working with Kay on several cruises and one great adventure in London. For the purpose of this review, I will reference our London trip. Kay helped us plan a very detailed visit to the London area, to include all our desired sites to see. She arranged an expert tour guide to assist with our visit and also arranged our air travel and accommodations. The trip was without exception a top notch vacation that we will never forget. Every small detail was carefully arranged by Kay, making our entire trip carefree and memorable. We highly recommend her expert assistance! Plus, she is super nice to work with!

Good but could be better
My only complaint is that sometimes she doesn’t get back to me and I have to contact her again. She is now independent so I worry she cant get as good a deal as I got when she was with a big company.

My Favorite Travel Consultant
I had never worked with a travel agent before but wish I had known her many years ago. She is the very best in what she does and always puts her customers first. This became very clear during the Covid Pandemic when I made several travel arrangements through Kay, and she kept on top of all the changes that occurred because of travel restrictions changing almost daily. On top of that, she always got us the very best deals available, many which we were totally unaware of. She is the very best in her field and the only agent I will ever use. I wish I had known her in my earlier years.

Always Great

Africa We still dream of Africa
Frank and I have worked with Kay many times for too many trips to enumerate. She has helped us when there were situations that were beyond us in foreign countries-riots, wildfires, etc.. We have taken land tours, river cruises, ocean cruises, and she has even helped with US flights. She has made travel possible and wonderful for us.

The Best Booking Experience Ever

An Amazing Italian Trip
Kay has extensive experience in travel domestically and internationally and walks you through the "do's and don'ts" of travelling abroad. She was especially helpful when we wanted to plan an Italy excursion outside of Rome during our trip in October of 2023. She provided the transportation, lodging and car service to get back to the port of Rome. She was extremely detail-oriented and touched base with us often to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.

More than a travel agent
Kay has always been so helpful in planning our trips but even more that that she is someone who goes beyond what you would expect should there ever be a problem. She has helped us get discounts for a cruise and a refund on airline tickets that the ticketing agency was not inclined to provide. The trips that she organizes herself and acts as tour guide are fantastic. One we took to Africa with Kay was absolutely one of our favorite trips. Everything was organized to the tee. The experience of seeing the Big 5 (Lion, Leopard, Cape Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino) was something we'll never forget. Maybe even better than that though were the cultural experiences of visiting villages in Botswana and Namibia. We could not have imagined a better trip.

Mother / Son Cruise to Alaska
Kay is a delight to work with, she is always available to consult with and assures she has a backup if she is on a trip hosting others! She has encouraged me to get the insurance when there is a high risk of loss and this alleviates the worries. She is always open to try to rebook if prices drop on previously booked trips. She takes the time to understand the priorities of the trip and helps build the trip with that in mind.

Route 66 trip on Trafalgar
Easy going professional in every way. Has solved some of our issues while on trips. Can call her before, during and after our trips. Always responds and gives us advise. Wife's camera go stolen, she helped us get the proper documents to have insurance replace it. Suitcase broke, bought a new one and insurance reimbursed us thanks to her advise on how to document.

Alaska - Our Goal Destination On the Horizon!
We have had a fabulous experience working with Kay Sandford. We had a lengthy trip planned in 2020 which was cancelled due to COVID and personal health issues. Kay helped us every step with the details of planning the trip to handling our refund. We are not experienced travelers. Kay has guided us through all the little details to give us the best opportunity to have a perfect trip from the size of the ship, the destinations that will fit our preferences, to whether we want a bathtub or a shower in our room. Things we would not even know to consider! She is always available for my questions about insurance or a hotel reservation for the night before the package begins. While she was traveling herself, she had a very knowledgeable assistant available who took phone calls and answered emails! We can not imagine how any agent could do more for their clients.
