Luxury Flight Destination, Travel Agent Specialist

Besides the northern lights and fjords, Norway offers a delectable selection of mouth-watering foods - foods that you probably have not tried before. Because Norweigans love adventure, food is no exception. For example, every residential Norwegian forages, and you can do the same as well on your Norway holiday. That is why I often suggest that travelers visiting Norway go on a foraging tour in August or September. That is when the hedgerows are in full bloom and prized porcini mushrooms can be easily found. However, never pick mushrooms without a guide to help. That is why a foraging tour is a must-do activity. You can also pick dew-sparkling amber berries, cloudberries, and lingonberries in places such as Hardangervidda and Rondane. Also, Husmanskost is a hearty and inviting lunch you will love - open sandwiches that feature sourdough or rye bread, topped with charcuterie, veggies, or seafood. You can savor the cuisine in places, such as the Havariet Bistro in Oslofjord. Classic dinner dishes include unique and succulent foods, such as elk meatballs and reindeer stew, also called finnbiff. Enjoy these evening staples in places, such as the Elgustua Guesthouse in East Norway. When you eat that type of delicious food, you will need to find ways to work off the calories, and Norway has plenty of activities in which you can take part. One of the popular activities of the country, naturally, is skiing. The word, "ski," itself comes from the Old Norse language. Many Norweigans assert that they had skis on their feet when they were born. Therefore, if you want to ski, you will find Norway to be a skiers paradise. You can hit the powder in winter or ski down a glacier during the summer. An exciting adventure always waits in this cold yet warm Scandinavian country. I would like to serve as your travel agent planner for Norway, as I know you will love your trip, regardless of when you choose to travel. Give me a call so we can go over all the exciting details now!

Travel Agent Specialist for Sweden

Travel Agent Specialist for Sweden

Are you planning to visit Sweden soon? If so, you’ve made an excellent choice! As a travel agent specialist for Sweden, I can tell you that this country has so many beautiful sights to offer that it is difficult to decide which one is the best. So, if you’re looking for a few recommendations on where to go and what to see during your trip then you’ve come to the right place. As a travel agent professional, I can provide closer look at some of the most impressive places in Sweden. Whether you’re interested in natural wonders or man-made structures, you won’t be disappointed when you visit the following must-see places in Sweden! Curious about which ones they are? Keep reading to find out!

1. Charles XIV Johan's Rotunda Sweden is a country full of interesting and impressive structures, but one that sticks out among the rest is Charles XIV Johan's Rotunda. This magnificent building was completed in 1874, but it was originally meant to be a church. The architect had the idea of turning it into a rotunda after experiencing an earthquake in Italy. It took him six years to complete it and today, this site is open for visitors to enjoy. The Charles XIV Johan's Rotunda is not only beautiful on the inside, but also on the outside with its symmetrical design and five architectural domes.

2. Skansen Skansen is the world’s first open-air museum and is a favorite tourist attraction in Sweden. It was founded in 1891 by Artur Hazelius and displays a variety of exhibits relating to Swedish culture, including replicas of landmarks in the form of an old farmstead as well as creative depictions of cultural traditions. If you are looking for something interactive to do on your visit, Skansen offers ample opportunities. For example, you can take a ride on a horse drawn carriage or enjoy traditional Swedish food at one of the many restaurants there. You can also experience the famous Scandinavian summer in one of the area’s cozy cottages and wooden houses.

3. The Blue Church As the name suggests, this church is blue! It was built by Lars Sonck and can be found in the town of Västerås. The building is made out of wood and has a unique color scheme which includes green details. The Blue Church, or is also called Blå Kyrkan.

4. Uppsala Cathedral and University Uppsala Cathedral and university is located in Sweden’s fifth largest city, Uppsala. Uppsala is an interesting mix of old medieval charm and modern development. Home to one of the oldest universities in Northern Europe, it also is home to Scandinavia’s largest cathedral church and one of the world’s finest music venues. In addition, the town features a world-famous botanical garden, which displays more than 10,000 species of plants.6. Iron museums If you love history, then you won’t want to miss out on this Swedish tradition. In the Iron museums of Sweden, visitors are able to learn about Sweden’s industrial development and see old mining methods first-hand. This is a great place for those who enjoy hands-on experiences. Visitors can participate in activities like panning for gold and making iron nails, which is great if you want to bring home some souvenirs with a more personal touch.

5. Stockholm – the Capital of Sweden Stockholm is the capital and largest city of Sweden. The city’s location on the Swedish east coast provides both a natural harbor and a bridgehead for trade with Finland, which is why it was chosen to be the Swedish capital during its construction in 1634. In Stockholm you will find many museums, including some of the most iconic ones in all of Scandinavia such as: Vasa Museum (the world’s best preserved 17th century ship), Nobel Museum (memorializing Alfred Nobel, inventor of dynamite), National museum (Sweden's national museum for art), Skansen Kronan (a military museum) and Nordic Museum (an ethnographic museum).8. Gärdesudden Beach and Coop's Kalfarneri CafeThere are plenty of enchanting beaches in Sweden to enjoy, but one that stands out is Gärdesudden Beach. It's a perfect spot for surfing and swimming. The water is shallow and the sand is soft so it's great for families with children. If you want to stop for a bite after your day at the beach, head over to the Coop's Kalfarneri Cafe. This restaurant serves classic Swedish dishes like meatballs and fish cakes that will satisfy your palate and appetite.9rs both cultural diversity and excitement. If you are looking for a different experience, be sure to visit Charles XIV Johan's Rotunda, Gärdesudden Beach and Coop's Kalfarneri Cafe. You won't regret any of your visits. Let me guide you in your journey as your travel agent professional. Give me a call today!

Stoddard is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. He’s considerate, efficient, and gets me traveling all over the world in a moments notice.
RD - Rome ~ Italy ~ Europe
Stoddard is a wonderful travel agent who provides outstanding customer service!

I initially contacted Stoddard via email. He reached out to me that very same day via phone and email. I spoke with him at length that afternoon and explained that we want to go on a 10-12 day trip to Switzerland. Before I went to bed that evening, he sent over a full itinerary which included flights, hotels, some meals, and recommendations for how to spend our time. All of this came in under our budget. Everything that Stoddard picked was fabulous, but since we had some extra money we added an extra night and made one or two upgrades. Stoddard was patient, friendly, and responsive throughout all of our interactions, and he always gave his honest opinion when we asked him for his input. It's evident that he knows Switzerland very well!! Our trip is now officially booked and we could not be more excited!

I highly recommend using Stoddard to plan your next vacation. He will not disappoint!!
Bonnie - Switzerland ~ Europe
Stoddard went out of his way to search out options that would meet my schedule and pricing requirements.
