Nancy Purdin

I've been in the travel industry since 1978. I started at one of the best travel agencies in the US, with worldwide clients, Poe Travel in Little Rock, Arkansas. They gave me the foundation to open my own after I moved to Tucson, Arizona. I opened MVP Travel in 1988.

I specialize in travel to the South Pacific and Europe. I've traveled to New Zealand more than 20 times and to Australia at least 15 times. I've been to out-of-the-way destinations in both places, place you won't see on a normal tour. I can show you the way! I've also been to French Polynesia and Fiji multiple times, as well as the Cook Islands. My favorite part of the world!

I also lived in Germany for 3 1/2 years and traveling extensively throughout Europe during that time. That's what gave me the travel bug and that particular bug still rules my life. I've been to Ireland multiple times, including personally escorting groups there and also escorted groups to the UK and France. Escorting groups is fun for me. I love the buck stopping with me, and I'm good at problem solving in the moment. 

I love sending people on adventures all over the world and for all ages. Seeing animals such as in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa holds a special fascination for me. I also love wine and wine tours throughout the world. And the sport of rugby is also important to me. I have been involved in playing, coaching and mentoring rugby for as long as I've been in travel, and still take groups to major rugby events, such as the Rugby World Cup. I've only missed 2 RWC's since they started in 1985 and have taken groups to Australia, France, New Zealand, Ireland and the UK.

I love to work with active travelers in their 40's, 50's and 60s and enjoy planning trips for clients in their 20's and 30's as well. 

I live in the Southwest, but have clients all over the US and even some who have moved abroad and still want to work with me. I'm responsive and creative when it comes to helping you plan your travel.
