Bridget Brecheen

As a lover of travel, I have spent the past 30 years exploring and immersing myself into the places I have been. Part of the fun is how you get there. Boat, yacht, helicopter or even a seaplane. I have experienced them all. From exploring castles in Europe to making cheese high in the Alps of Switzerland, from mushing a team of dogs on the top of a glacier to diving with sharks, from exploring an active volcano to lounging on beautiful tropical white sand beaches. I am well diversified in my travel experiences. I enjoy immersing myself within the culture of each of my destinations. Whatever that region of the world is known for, I want to dive deeper and explore those things that will enrich the overall experience.

River and Ocean cruising is one of my favorite ways to travel. Unpacking once and waking up in a different port every day is a perfect way to travel. I enjoy the intimacy and luxury of a river cruise as it allows the opportunity to see so much more of the beautiful countryside while gliding down a famous river between the shores. Oceanliners have offered me the ability to visit many tropical island destinations as well as exploration cruises. I have found they are a great way to unwind as I enjoy time at sea relaxing before docking and then I am off to explore the next port of call.

I have had the privilege to travel to many countries over the years.  Some I have returned to numerous times as they continue to beckon me. My grandparents immigrated to America from Italy so it seems only natural that I am drawn there. I have explored so much of this historically rich country, both in the big cities as well as the lesser known country towns, from the top by the Alps to " the bottom of the boot." In addition, I have spend a great deal of time in Spain, Switzerland and Germany. I have also traveled throughout France, Mallorca, Andorra, Great Britain, Austria, and many others. 

Tropical destinations have always appealed to me. As a native born and raised San Diego, Ca. girl, I have always loved the ocean and I enjoy searching out and finding fabulous beaches. From the Hawaiian Islands to the Cayman Islands, from Turks and Caicos to Fiji, from white sands of the Maldives to the black sands on the Big Island of Hawaii,, from the orange sandy beaches of Portugal to the pink sands of the Bahamas, there is a big beautiful world out there just waiting to be explored. 

As a Travel Specialist, I enjoy being a part of planning wonderful trips for my clients that will provide memories that will last a lifetime. I believe travel should include what I call the "3 E's of Excellence". Travel should be exhilarating, enjoyable and entertaining.
