Never Travel Without Insurance
We worked with Jules for our trip home for Xmas holidays. Not only did she give us the best deal for our flights but also gave us various options for travel insurance which we always take out when travelling. On this occasion, my daughter and husband were taken ill just before our return journey and Jules was contactable throughout the extended time we were unable to fly to offer support and guidance of what we needs to do. Once our Insurance Claim was filed, Jules continued to give us regular updates as to each step of the process through to settlement and payment of our claim. From start to finish of your trip, Jules is with you every step of the way, even when things don’t go according to plan !

Best Vacation Ever!
Jules was a pleasure to work with in planning our first family vacation outside of the country. We had such a peace of mind knowing she had all the details covered. During the planning process she provided us with lots of options to choose from within our budget. She was always timely to respond and answer our questions. She checked in with us as our vacation time neared with lots of excursion options. While we were on vacation she was easily accessible when we wanted to make a change in our transfer back to the airport. Our kids told us this was the "best vacation ever" and we have to agree. <br/><br/><br/>Jules booked our all inclusive resort in Punta Cana this Spring Break. Jules went above and beyond to ensure we received what we wanted in terms of bedding configurations as we were travelling with our 14 year old son. She printed out all the documents required and made us a Travel packet, organized round trip transfers and even contacted the resort directly and organized a welcome gift and note from her company Dérive Vacations to be on our room on arrival. She was so thoughtful, handled all kinds of little details including reminding us to make sure passports were updated. She was a pleasure to work with. ULTIMATE FAMILY VACATION

Jules was amazing and I highly recommend her for your travel planning needs. Our family of 9 traveled to Disney World and had an amazing time. Our 1st Cruise- Special Memories!
This was our family's first time using a travel agent and it made planning our vacation so easy. Jules was so quick to respond to all my questions, she made phone calls to ask questions (so I didn't have to wait on hold to speak with them), and pre-checked us in. She prepared a travel packet with all important information we would need, copies of passports, and included a travel checklist for packing. The week of traveling she texted to check in to make sure we were ready to travel and to answer any last minute questions. Jules is amazing and goes the extra mile to make sure your vacation goes smoothly. We highly recommend her! Thank you Jules for being phenomenal!

Norwegian Cruise handicapped
absolutely recommend Jules Lewis at Derive Vacations! My family (5) booked a Norwegian Cruise and Jules was great at giving advice and planning. The most helpful was the fact that we were traveling with my mother-in-law, who is handicapped, and being able to meet her needs. We had an excursion that she was able to go on to the beach and Jules helped with getting a wheelchair for her at the port. She also has an app that put EVERYTHING in that was so handy. It included each days itinerary and reminders for us so we weren't searching through emails or papers (which is what we are normally doing)! Jules made our trip worry-free and flawless! Thanks again!

20th Wedding Anniversary Trip
Jules is so easy to work with when booking your travel needs. She always goes above and beyond to find the best location and accommodations to meet your needs. She found the best excursions to explore and even requested a room upgrade to celebrate our anniversary. She also surprised us with a gift of champagne and a Key West travel guide prior to our trip. Jules is a wonderful travel agent. She got us a great deal on our trip AND helped me secure reasonable travel insurance. Christmas break trip 2019
Jules is a great travel agent. We booked our cruise with Jules and she took care of every detail. She dropped a goody bag for our kids (which was great for our road trip) and had goodies eating for the adults once we arrived on the ship. She checked in with us repeatedly to make sure we had everything we needed. Our trip was seamless and very enjoyable thanks to the hard work by Jules.

Dream Vacation
Right from the start, she asked about our priorities and budget and helped develop a framework of what was to become a dream vacation. Jules was great to work with and created a trip of a lifetime for me and my family. She listened to my ideas and made suggestions that truly enhanced our trip (better to stay in Sorrento than Positano, stay in smaller hotels near transport and very walkable, etc). She took a very loose outline of our must-sees and dos and helped create an itinerary that catered to each member of our family. As an added bonus, we were greeted in each city (London, Paris, Sorrento, Rome) with a small personal gift from her, welcoming us to the area. She was available to us by text or message the entire time we were abroad and smoothed over any hiccups we encountered with ease, allowing us the freedom to enjoy ourselves while she attended to the details. The memories we created were truly priceless, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Jules again and recommend her services.

With this being our first international travel with Covid restrictions, Jules went above and beyond making this trip amazing. We felt completely confident that Jules was going to be able to handle any curve ball that came our way; and a few were thrown at us. She was able to accommodate some unforeseen travel changes with the resort as well as the airlines. She made what should have been an extremely stressful situation, a breeze. Family Vacation
Jules booked our October Universal Studios trip. It was a birthday trip for our twin girls. Jules looked into activities, hotels and ticket options, so that we could decide on the best options for us. Once booked, she continued to follow up as new offerings became available. When it was time for our trip, she hand delivered gift bags filled with travel activities and snacks for my girls. Birthday balloons and well wishes greeted us as we entered our hotel room. She also went above and beyond to make sure hotel construction would not impact our stay. Jules made sure everything was perfect!

Best Mother and Son Trip Ever
In August, my son and I went on a mother/son trip to London to celebrate his 10th birthday. European Family Vacay of a LIFETIME!
Working with Jules has been the most personalized travel planning we have ever experienced; working for 9 months to plan an amazing 15 day, multi country trip to Europe, which included a week long Norwegian cruise. Jules was careful to understand the travel needs of our children and my mother traveling with us. She researched many small personalized tours at reasonable prices everywhere we would visit, including port stops, allowing us to choose the ones best for us, making changes as we asked. Nothing was too much of an ask for Jules! While traveling, she was available to help with confirmations, cancellations and changes as needed. Pura Vida! Good Life!
Pura Vida is a saying that is used by Coast Ricians which means good life! That is exactly what we experienced while on our vacation to Costa Rica. My family of 5 (kids ages 21, 19, 16) was looking to try an all-inclusive beach resort. We were open to any beach destination. Jules did a PHENOMENAL job researching and presenting us with numerous options. She went above and beyond spending hours talking over the phone discussing what each hotel/destination had to offer and which fit our families wants/needs the best. The trip of a lifetime
Jules was more than a travel agent for our family, she was a genie making our dreams come true. We had a big list of goals and a strict budget to meet them and Jules delivered on everything and more. Our trip wasn't the trip of a lifetime, it was 5 trips in one. She coordinated our travel for my myself, my wife, and our 10 yo daughter between Rome/Naples (Italy), Crete/Mykonos/Athens (Greece), Kusadasi/Istanbul (Turkey), Paris (France), Montreux (Switzerland), and Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Munich/Schwangau (Germany) all in a 2 week window. What's more, our trip was supposed to happen in 2022 but had to be postponed because we caught Covid before we were scheduled to leave. Without missing a beat or batting an eye, Jules recoordinated everything. She took care of it all without us having to worry about a thing or lift a finger. A Hawaii trip to remember
Jules is so helpful from the very start! We weren’t exactly sure what island we wanted to travel. She provided great recommendations and once we had chosen she was able to recommend hotels as well. She helps coordinate everything from transportation, restaurant reservations as well as activities and excursions. The thing we enjoyed most was the app she created for us that had all our tickets and info linked for each day of our trip! She is also so quick to respond via email or phone which helped once we had questions a day prior to our travel.

Dream Honeymoon
We contacted Jules back in July when we found flights to Turks & Caicos and ask her to help us plan our honeymoon stay at Beaches by Sandals. Even though it was very last minute with booking everything she was super helpful and worked with us even outside of her regular business hours. Jules helped us pick the best dates for the best price and we were so excited. Leading up to our trip she would send us updates on COVID info and even added a packing list for our beachy vacation. We had some trouble with TCI Authorization and Jules was willing to call them at 5 AM CST to see what she could do to sort out the problem. We had the absolute best honeymoon ever. Jules has been a lifesaver! She was incredibly responsive to all of my many questions when organizing a school reunion cruise and making reservations for our family reunion cruise. Jules handled COVID cancellations for both cruises, and because of her, our full refund was returned, saving us thousands of dollars! We were hesitant to pay more on our cruise balances, hoping the cruise line would cancel the trips and refund our payments before we lost them due to (strategic!) non-payment.
